Did you remove any warranty stickers? If not, they'll never know.

Chances are they have been removed now by the winning bidder. I've told him that even though eBay have forced me to accept the return, we as a business have a right to independently assess the product and if EVGA refuses to repair due to damage, rather than a fault, then we will return the item back to him along with an invoice for the sale price and costs. He may refuse, but it will be clear from EVGA that it is damaged. I will the pursue it through the small claims also. I get tired of being screwed like this on eBay because people haven't got a clue how to build PC's.

Shot in the dark but has anyone worked in product procurement before and know normal frequencies of deliveries? So in normal times would it be reasonable to expect MSI for example to deliver a batch once a week or is it more of a once a month kind of deal?

I sold my 2080ti on eBay, working perfectly, water-cooled including the original fans, box etc. Showed a video of it working in the description etc. etc. Sent well packed. Winning bidder received it last week and now claims it is faulty. He told me he would put the stock fans back on and I feel he's screwed it up. Saying there is no power and it was like that when he received it. Trouble is, I'm a business seller and have to accept returns within 14 days. So, unfortunately, I'm both £520 + fees, down and minus a 2080ti too. There is one saving grace, is that it is still guaranteed by EVGA. Do any of you know how forgiving EVGA is with regards to water cooling and placing the stock fans back on for an RMA repair? Will they decline or are they pretty good about these things.

Evga are totally fine with watercooling. I had a evga 1080 founders under water and it decided to melt all covered under their warranty. No issues at all as long as u put the stock cooler back on.

Dont suppose u checked serial number before u sent it? He might have a dead one and trying to swap with ur working one.

You should be OK. EVGA are one of the only brands that don't mind you removing the stock cooler and replacing it for water cooling purposes -they even sell kits to allow you to do this. Their policy is only to deny the claim if the cooler removal caused damage that resulted in the card failing.

This is the best question I've seen on here tbh.

How often does each manufacturer deliver to OCUK? Average size delivery?

I would say weekly but instead of 100+ cards a week will me more like 10 to 50 in these trying times

Yeah it sucks mate!, always try and avoiding selling high value items on eBay for this exact reason.... he's clearly got it and 1) broke it trying to take water block off 2) decided wants a 3080 so sending it back faulty

I ordered a ventus at 14:33 so hopefully I'll get it in the not to distant future if a 14:30 order has been shipped!!!
Im a 14:37 ventus order so hope im not too far behind you. If its not too much trouble would you mind posting when you get a shipping notification? Ill keep an eye on your post so I can get a rough idea how close I am? I'm trying to book a flight after receiving my card so the earlier i can book it the better :D

Gutting. For any valuable electrical goods I always stick to private sales on local sites so I can demonstrate the item working and sell as seen. It limits potential buyers, however, it gives you peace of mind and saves you paying the obscene commission.

Surely it is in the manufacturers best interest to ship larger quantities. If shipments are indeed so small doesn’t that point to issues with production?
Large quantities will be via shipping containers. Smaller quantites will be airmail more frequent.

They will probably issues airmail until they have caught up a bit and have large enough quantities fir containers

Afternoon all, anyone heard much about EVGA stock? looking at other sites, as well as OC, i can't seem to even see an option to pre order it like all the other cards...i already have one pre ordered but i'm toying with cancelling it. especially if there is no update what so ever on the EVGA cards
