Ordered a Gigabyte Gaming OC at 14:33 on the 17th. The queue calculator estimated that I was around 32 in order for the card.

My order status turned to "Order Shipped or ready to collect" roughly 20 minutes ago. Seems like OC may have received a small batch of gigabyte gaming OC cards today (when I ordered, the ETA was in fact 21st September on the site which also gives me hope).

Haven't received an email yet about my delivery so I am tempering my excitement, but this may give gigabyte gaming OC purchasers some hope!

That is good news!
I ordered one of those from a competitor and I'm officially in queue position 49 there so hopefully that means they will get a shipment soon.

Yea same here, no email and no order number but it does show on the web portal in my orders and has an OC number and "Order received - not yet shipped" status.
 
I think today we'll have a draft about the whole situation, with some orders being processed and shipped. Keep us updated, so we'll see if it's like 10 being sent, 20, or 50....

Nothing in the FAQ suggests what you propose will not work, but pay attention to this part:

"The EVGA Step-Up program is currently only available to residents of the United States, Canada, and EU Countries."

I would ask them to confirm that the UK is still covered as there is some doubt out there as the UK is no longer an EU country.

Also note that there is currently only one 3080 card in the step-up list:

Not the only one, I got the GB Eagle - ordered 14:36

The unofficial calc reckons I'm around 108 in the queue lol - rather get it officially from OcUK soon and hope it's even less :p

To be fair im pretty sure looking back it said pre order for the 23rd when i ordered, so hopefully in a few days some stock might come in,
They had some in stock gibbo said in the first post, so hopfully that puts us in the next batch

Them implementing a queue system and ETAs of stock will save them buttload of admin for sure though, people are too impatient to wait and are probably hammering their phones/emails still.

Weird. The unofficial calculator puts me as position 1 for the FTW ultra too.
What time is your order no. shown as? Mine is 13:58.

It did - I'm glad you reaffirmed that as I had 23/9 in my head too when I ordered lol.

Also really hope ours get shipped later this week. :o

Told you it was BS lol - they haven't got a clue that particular retailer.
 
yeah, Gigabyte Gaming OC said 21st when I ordered, but I also picked it because although it was in the list for "In Stock" prior to 2pm, more were due this week (same can be said for Eagle)
