If there's this many people mad about getting an RTX 3080, wouldn't any of the third party manufacturers be tripping over to get their units to retailers ASAP? Little different to other product launches because there's competition between manufacturers. Unlike with Sony just handling the PS5.

I am sure they are but they only started making them 2 weeks ago and clearly even at their max manufacturing numbers per week, it will take time to clear demand. Sony will have started manufacturing the PS5 months ago to build up stock.
Did you see that 20,000 xotacs had been ordered on Germany Amazon alone and zotac says it will take them until 21st January 2021 to fulfil all the orders they have got?
Clearly if they could build them any faster they would as customers are sat there and already paid.

Yeah they got back to me. Apparently ordering two doesn’t affect your position in the queue. Not convinced to be honest, but we’ll see.
In any case, happy for the guys who are finally getting their cards!
A few of us noticed the nvidia site acting funny earlier and some have reported bans from refreshing too much, so at least that tallies up.

I just received an email from OCUK and I obviously got really excited but it's just order confirmation from Thursday...
Order has been confirmed in my account since Friday and I got the out of stock email then too so I actually thought it might be shipping... But no...
