Been holding out for these since they were announced, most of our projects are being shot in 8K RED RAW and the previous gen isn't cutting the mustard...

I still thought PC gaming was pretty niche, had no idea just how popular graphics card are.
Made the choice just to stick with PC this gen too, I mean have you seen PS5 game prices !! No thanks Sony I'll pass.

Wow... I feel so depressed now after seeing all the EVGA posts.
Why do they not value UK custom? We must bring in a lot of money for them still, and if not enough, that's due to their ineptitude and leaving us in the dark.
My only annoyance is, that if they had no stock at OCUK of the EVGA and no news at all on when it was coming, then why take pre orders on any of their cards? I am likely going to try and go for a 3070 with Gigabyte or Palit on the 24th and I will not be going for EVGA again. I think EVGA needs a European boycott.

I’ll prob stick around seen a few things on the site I may pick up, not a great first impression for my first order but I do completely understand with the whole situation so can’t fault OC I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt

Well, one tip: Don't buy EVGA. Seriously. I know they're 'renowned' for their customer service but they have nothing but contempt for European retailers.
They're supposedly stocking a few thousand this week and all are exclusive to the U.S and from Jacob's refusal to answer any questions regarding EU stock, I doubt they have plans to ship any soon.
Cancelled my EVGA FTW3 Ultra last night (Order No. 5860183, placed at 13:58) despite supposedly being No. 1 in the unofficial queue calculator as a buddy managed to snag two copies of the MSI Ventus so will be buying that off him tomorrow, and not at an inflated price.
I'm a little salty as I would've really liked the FTW3 but doubt we'll be seeing those cards this side of the year unless you're American.

You lucky guy. I went EVGA so thinking of buying off scalper... I don't want to encourage them, but EVGA have f'd me over this time.
Yeah, benefit of this place is the forum, and the fact the staff interact on it. I guess it's radio silence from all the other online shops unless you call customer service.
I’ll be picking up a PS5 aswell but must admit the price for games now is crazy I’ve slowly moved into PC gaming last year or so but I always go back to my PS4 as you said PC gaming still niche so I’m the only person I know with a gaming PC which sucks so my mates still on console

Thanks, 3-5 days, thats not too bad. I will push it on credit card so will accrue 5 days worth of interests but I might get free shipping from someone else so not too bad as it will balance itself out.

I know. I said that. But I don't want to wait till December because EVGA hate the UK. I got my order in the first 40 minutes, so I am really annoyed that I got an EVGA.
It's been a very bizzare week hasn't it and a lot of work.
Positives:
Preordered: MSI 3080 from OCUK, PS5 from Game, Xbox SX from Amazon.
Negatives:
The guy that bought my 2080ti has damaged it by installing the stock fans but claiming it was faulty. Sadly as a business seller, I have no option but to refund him and take the card back, such is ebay's crappy policy. I did report him however and he got very ranty via email that eBay have penalised him. He clearly knew it was me that did it and I really don't care. Will try and get the card repaired if possible by EVGA, see if they will do it.
So very much like life. There are negatives and positives to be had from this week.

Maybe UK custom abuse their RMA policy or something, either that or brexit. Can’t think of anything else.

I’m gonna be ****** if people late in the Amazon.de queue get their card before my one ordered from OCUK. They sold over 10 times what they were allocated by Zotac so every order thereafter should be cancelled by Amazon.

Going to be a long wait for the non-OC model I've ordered from the sounds of things but on the flip side looks like they're not doing any special binning for the cards?
nVidia claim those orders are under manual review with many cancelled or so they claim.
