Gutted I didn't know about this, hope it's still somehow useful

yeah, they guys on there wanted to level the playing field for genuine customers. Unfortunately I think it’s too late but like you, it might be genuinely useful. Even for educational purposes perhaps?

Was that post earlier about official queue positions being emailed out later today a load of garbage?

That was my post, as informed by OcUK on the phone. Clearly delayed it again... Here's hoping for tomorrow

Oof, those white Gigabyte cards are damn good looking. Are those new listings? Cannot recall seeing them last Thursday.

Yes, was listed earlier this afternoon along with a few new Zotac models.

As someone in the US, do you guys think it would be faster to cancel my EVGA XC3 Ultra Gaming order and just order another card? My order number is 58689xx and it was on the 17th at 22:41.

Probably faster to order an EVGA card from a U.S. retailer if that's what you want. Jacob, EVGA's product manager, says they're restocking weekly but only in the US.

I really dont get why are you guys using the queue calculator, when after that backlog os order emails it show that it doesn't give even a near estimate of your place in the queue. The calculator is programme d to give you an idea where you are based on your order number, but the order number is generated based on the time of payment acceptance not time of order.I got mine email yesterday even though i placed the order at the 17th around 15.20.When i put my number in it shows me as one of the complete last ones,I check with OC via email and they assured me I joined the gueue at the 17th when the order was placed. But still thx to whoever took from their own time to program it using info that was avali le to them at that time.
It gives us hope lol

The moment i received the confirmation email I put the number in the calculator that very minute and it put me dead last.

Are you sure? What card did you order? After 3, thousands had already been ordered so it wouldn't surprise me if you were hundreds down the queue. What is "dead last" to you?

58737xx
Strix OC around 15.20
I mean maybe I'm wrong but highly doubt they sold 960 of them in that time window

That would be what I would prefer of course. But I mainly ordered from OCUK to have some peace of mind that I got an order in but I just need to wait, it just may take a few weeks. But the more I read this thread, the more I've learned that it looks like the UK doesn't get any EVGA cards. Let alone me being 444 in the unofficial queue. It could be a year before I get it, haha.

For sure. No one can say for certain but from what I can gather from their product manager on Twitter & elsewhere is it's not looking good for European EVGA stock...
Hope it all works out for you though. :)
