so i just wanted to check, I live in the Channel Islands (who OCUK are very good at supplying) but with the UK and Ireland only does that include the Channel Islands too or not?
we arent able to buy anything locally and always us UK sites as it is way easier for us,

im asking as a friend wants to buy the 3090 tomorrow

thanks

Hey guys, any rough idea on how many ASUS tuf oc were sold? As I cancelled my order and looking for another card to go for.

Afraid not - at least not until they come up with something official - given that will most likely decrease sales if you know you're going to be 15,000th in line, I wouldn't bank on it.

Unfortunately, I suspect any card you order now is going to be months away rather than days/weeks

Same as my 14:05 ordering ass lol
How can we not even be at 14:05 on the card estimated to be FIVE PERCENT of total orders???

Channel Islands are part of the UK are they not? At least that's how I would interpret this. Best of luck either way.

I appreciate that we have a lot of new members here, however please ensure that you have a read of the forum rules - https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/help/terms

Also, for any order specific questions you are best off posting in the Customer Service forums and not in this thread.
Hang on, I have been a member for eight and a half years, can I still post mildly paranoid 3080 queries?

"Hello, I heard that Nvidia has folded and will not be supplying any more GPUs. That said, does anyone know when the MSI Trio will be shipping?"

But I'm not risking a roof over my head or insurance?

Why are you saying I am?

Why are you deliberately missing the point that over clockers have made a mistake and not fixed it and focusing on my financial situation?

Your take is pathetic.

Are you deliberately being obtuse?

I stand corrected, my apologies. Having read your posts again, I get your point and I had jumped to a conclusion that you had put yourself into debt for the sake of the card, not because of poor service and lack of refund from OC forcing your hand.

yes and no, we arent part of the UK but a crown dependency, and some times places are funny about shipping to us as we are classed as outside the UK, so i just wanted to check (also posted in customer service)

I emailed them and they basically said OCUK will have them soon. So this just ties in with what I was told. Hope we get them soon!
Thanks for sharing that. Yes me too the Inno3D is my plan B 3080 after the MSI Trio but actually looking closer into the design the iChill X4 might actually have a stronger cooling solution just so long as its not power limited lower than the others. They both run the heatpipes direct to the GPU die but Inno3D X4 uses 8 which I think is more than the Asus Strix

You still have to follow this route so you can demonstrate to the court that you pursued every avenue. Might be an idea to ask the buyer if he has any qualifications to perform the actions on the card as well.

Interesting point, but given that he's changed his approach since he became aware that this wasn't just going to go away - now stating I deliberately and knowingly sold a faulty card. I doubt he will respond, or if he did, it would be that he's an MIT Professor in Quantum Bull **** and Computing. He's doubling down on, despite the evidence showing the card was working and now after he received it isn't.
