Asus monitor? I have a PG279Q but I think I’ll keep that one and use it for FPS and then might look at a separate 4K monitor for games such as Cyberpunk 2077

I have the PG279Q too and do exactly that. I bought an ASUS VG289Q 4k for console gaming but it works great for some PC games in 4k. Play Monster hunter world at 4k max settings on a 5700XT! Just hope I get my 3080 this decade ;)

I cant see why they cant. They are not giving any info away apart from how many they have shipped. Sounds to me its more a case of there are so few that have been sent out due to the shortage that they would end up having most people canceling tbh.
Cause they would provide economics data of sales figures basically. And thats information protected by GDP afaik.

I feel like I have best of both with screens, where I have a nice 1440p Acer Predator I usually game on, but I also have a 4K B9 OLED in the games room, so I have the option of either depending on the game

Just wish they were as good on keeping folks updated globally and regionally. Many others are at least trying. I'm still going to hold on and wait for my Ventus. Was chatting to someone who got their order in 20 minutes before me (15:15) and they got their card this week. Ah well but MSI can do a lot more in communication, guesstimates.

Was 15:15 your time for ordering or theirs? My order is also 15:15 so i may be getting my hopes up now :)

Yeah that's originally why I ordered the card.. but the more I dwell on it £650 for one game is a bit mad :D
I'll leave my order in for now since £650 I've got it for is decent as they're going for well over that now, but if the cards are not here by October might aswell wait and see what AMD has.
I feel exactly the same, the only problem is, I'm building a new PC and coming from a gtx960, it's a huge upgrade and worth it. No point in ordering a 20 series. I was going to build 2 months ago, but decided to wait for the 30 series. Now yet another wait! Haven't bought the cpu yet, and it's getting closer to an AMD release. Case and PSU just sitting here waiting

Well who knows what their NDA says. Considering how badly Nvidia have rolled out this launch and how evasive they've been about supply, it seems perfectly logicial to me that Nvidia would have told retailers not to give any specific numbers on incoming stock or dispatched cards

The fact OCUK break retail price by price gouging / scalping , i'm sure Nvidia won't turn around and say "sorry, but we are going to cancel all £7 million of orders from you" lol

I think people have gotta realise that for 99% of people, we are going to be waiting until at LEAST when Golden Week is over in Asia, which is over 2 weeks away. They're gonna have a real long time of it if they're expecting some sudden shift in stock in the next week or so. Personally I've already resigned myself to the fact my card is probably a month away at best

Is there any info on Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Eagle OC? im Nr 20 since release :( havent seen anyone getting any and Gibbo said they should be coming

That's all we want...Feedback. Good or bad, I just want to know. The official queue system can't come soon enough! I'm hoping it will be a live system that updates as orders ship out.

Breaking NDAs has wider implications then a supplier just cancelling orders, especially for global retailers. If that was the case then nobody would ever bother and just be like whoops, sorry!

NDA's are legally binding, there are potentially grave consequences for businesses that break them, well beyond potentially souring the relationship with whoever they signed it with. Obviously I don't know the specifics of their NDA, but its silly to think an NDA couldn't be a factor, or wouldn't be an obstacle

Here in the UK, at least, you can have a "Suggested" retail price, set by the manufacturer, but it is up to each retailer to decide what price to actually sell at. There is no "set" price that something has to be sold at, so there is no 'breaking of retail price' happening.

And no, I didn't get my card at the original list price, it had gone up by the time I ordered. Not as much as the price is now, but I accepted that it was the price I paid for getting on the waiting list on launch day.
