A little bit of info I just got, I asked about changing my shipping method but also asked about queue position. Was told they're not giving out queue positions but are working on solution (as we know). However they did add that I'll be waiting a 'considerable amount of time' for my order to ship, for reference, I ordered MSI Gaming X Trio at 14:05 on launch day so for any fellow Trio orderers :(

Perhaps then it is aimed at people like me, that want to game and work in media from home?

Given that the Quadro's are beyond my pocked and the Titan is $2500.

The 3090 is not aimed at gamers. Nvidia's marketing team got the 3090 and because AMD are around the corner with the 6000 series, they want to try and create a stir by saying this is the first 8K gaming card. Which then leads people to assume it's a gaming card, when in fact it is a prosumer card that is aimed at those folk like me that need 99% of what a Titan can do, without the stupid price and something after I've finished work that I can play games on.

In that scenario, yes it has it's place, but given what a CF the 3080 launch has been, you can be almost guaranteed that the majority that are buying these, are buying them primarily to game on.

We're shipping good as quickly as we can, I have no idea where you are in the OCUK waiting list but stock is currently being shipped into the UK every two weeks.

Awesome, thanks for the update. Do you know when the Vision cards are landing? I know they were added post launch, so perhaps not many of them ready to go.

Got my palit card last night, what a beast of a card! Going to hook it up to my OLED later and give it some testing on there at 4K 120fps! It'll be worth the wait and this is coming from a 2080ti owner. :D

I think my non-oc TUF has been delivered this morning. Need to wait till the evening for someone to bring me the box from the office though, because of self isolation. :(

So deliveries are happening chaps.

Perhaps I’m being pessimistic but due to the silence I am expecting we don’t get the queue system this week.

I’m find waiting for my card, but it would be nice to even have a rough idea. So far I’m thinking November for my Asus strix OC to arrive.

asus will do everything in there power to get it to you in october:) between amd on the 28th And the fact that rebates from nvidia witch is to belived to be around £45 will end if they dont get it to you in october so they could loose a order to amd or loose £45 ontp of your money:) i can see all compainies pushing as hard as they to get massive stocks to stores

I wonder what chance the rest of us have then when you ordered at that time... I got my order in for the same card @ 14:15.

Glad to hear this. I rang and changed my Ventus order as I ordered a bit late and was like 2000 in the que for it. Changed to a Palit card hoping for a quicker arrival. Nice to hear they are being shipped.

I would tend to agree with you there. Especially given the marketing and YouTuber (LTT & MB) videos pushing 8K gaming, which then leads those thinking it would batter 4K. Just a bit of rough math alone with the cores etc, shows that the 3090 isn't going to be hugely more powerful over the 3080. The Nvidia hype train grabbed hold and lead those to think it was aimed more at gaming. Granted, there are those that always want the best and are willing to pay handsomely for it, if for relatively small gains. Were I to use one just for gaming, I would simply stick with my MSI 3080 Ventus order on OCUK, which I am unlikely to see any time soon. After seeing the results on rendering for the 3090 and the 3080 crash due to lack of VRAM in certain scenarios, for me, it allowed me to work more effectively from home than I currently do, and what I could do with the 3080. The cost is crazy, but I never could justify a Titan, but I can just about justify the 3090.

I may cancel my MSI Ventus 3080, considering from the small amount I've read on here, that the MSI is unlikely to land anytime soon and the only reason I bought it was because it said available this week.

So this "Printer function" competitor is regularly updating people through twitter and their website on deliveries and queues for cards. Apparently, from some cards that had 500 preorders, almost 250 have shipped for some of the brands. So is OCUK not as preferred in terms of card allocation? Or is this just good marketing?
