The eyes actually improve it...I did read somewhere that you can swap the colour, as it's a detachable piece of plastic, presumably at additional cost though

I read they are actually giving the alternate colours out for free for those who ask for them.

Looks like the MSI trio is deffo having the cap update. Clearly the reasons for delay and possibly the price increases.

Yeah. It was me who tweeted to Videocardz about it they thanked me (my twitter) too in article which was cool. Since the cards and headquarters of these AIB is China I changed the region on MSI to Asia Chinese and looked at 3080 gaming x trio and found the updated images. Seems they changed early on too. If you don't see the images it's because your region is set to global.

Second this! I have a friend that the unofficial queue says 15 so lets see if his gets shipped.

I imagine his will. They've previously apparently had 5, and now are getting another 30, and if anything I suspect the calculator overestimates position (though I guess since the Trio grew fastest it might be more accurate for it's early orders than others).

Personally from the graphs I made after we heard that "only" 1800 TUFs had sold in total, vs the spreadsheet's 2700 estimate, I am guessing these 30 will take us to orders made in the first 8 minutes of the Trios.

Can't believe how many posts this thread has got up to, is an interesting read!

Am hoping "Capacitor Gate" is meaning more and more people cancel their orders, esp for the Eagle OC (LOL), and as suspected it would seem a driver update pretty much fixes the issue, maybe completely.

Fingers crossed for those who have ordered the cards due in today, might give us more of an idea on actual order numbers when people start getting those item shipped emails and post on here.

Also people cancelling are probably a mix of the "Caps Scare", 3070 and 3060 Ti due in Oct, Big Navi getting positive leaks and the cash situation. This suits me fine, while I have an AMD CPU I will stay clear of their GPUs because their divers are much more stable (not).

I had a Radeon 5970 and I will never buy another AMD GPU, the driver support was awful in my experience.

Hi peeps I used the webform on Sat but heard nothing back while another contacted on Sunday and heard back yesterday, I phoned them just now and the gentlemen informed me I was on the cancellation list but he will cancel it now for me. Point is this list might not be in order so if u have not heard back best phone...
