Hmmm, in these circumstances though it shows an unpleasant attitude of we want to hang on to your money even though we haven't got what you paid for so we won't allow anyone to tell you where you can get one now! Just saying!

Nah they're 100% within their rights to remove those posts, however there have been heaps of posts hinting at competition left on this thread, but as soon as someone mentions a competitor has stock they remove all the posts.
Not a good look at all given the abysmal lack of info from OCUK. I sense another wave of cancellations shortly.

*Edit* I remember, must have been 200 pages back, nvidia put some FE's for sale and there was 3 or 4 pages of discussions on it. Not one of those posts were removed.

I mean either deal with it or cancel your order honestly. You have the options. You obviously don't' care about OC practices that much if you're quite content keeping your order. Money speaks louder than words. You know you're in a queue for the device and without getting extremely lucky, shopping elsewhere is most likely just going to take longer than waiting patiently. Likewise if what you want you can get elsewhere before OC stock and ship it then just cancel then. OC aren't going to engage with complaining. If they've got something to announce they'll do so. Announcing anything before that when things could change would just bite them in the butt

Everything would be so much different if OCUK communication with customers was better...
It would not thrust me angry mob is angry does not matter what You tell them. If Gibbo posted Every freaking Hour No= cards came people would ask BUT WHY NO CARDS CAME
@craig heanan did they had any stock or just sold air like everyone that is the real question .

Info from the shop is a totally different subject and irrelevant and does not excuse anyone abusing the forum rules!

Are you aware of this thread:
https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/t...deliveries-how-to-cancel-your-order.18899277/

It's updated with new deliveries etc

That thread doesn't deal with the most concering of the issues though. OCUK are suspiciously silent on that one. I don't know, maybe they're getting all their ducks in a row in the background before saying anything, but it needs to be addressed at some point. I work in logistics, and have seen what an impact events can have on your workflow, and how it can often take days, or weeks, to get back on track. But you NEVER stay silent with your customers. It's your customers that are putting food on your plate, paying your mortgage, and putting your kids through college in the end.

The rules have existed long before this thread, If you don't want to deal with overclockers, get a refund and buy somewhere else. You wouldn't expect people to be allowed to advertise Asda inside of a tescos now would you?

I often walk around Tesco’s with a Sainsbury’s bag for life and nobody kicks me out.
