One of the competitor sites allows you to add the cards to a wish list. Upon doing this, it shows what stock they have of a specific card and when they anticipate stock of others. Neat trick.

Except they have cards showing as "In stock" without any way of ordering them, so not sure how accurate that is

But the queue wasn't reflecting on the 2nd, it was reflecting that of the 29th. Read the email again.

If that was true I would've had my card by now at position 10.

@GIGA-Man sorry to bust your chops, I / we've been fairly patient up until this point, but i suspect if shipment numbers to OcUk aren't revealed fairly soon you're going to start losing orders to cancellations. Why is there such a cloak and dagger / bait and switch mentality going on at the moment??? All I want to know is a realistic expectation of an ETA!!!! If I pre-ordered a car from VW in January, i'd at least like to know it's on a forecourt for March, or my money is walking, this should be no different!!!!

Shipment numbers (combined with cancellations) will be revealed soon as they sending updated queue position emails to people.

Starting to think I made the wrong choice goin with oc for my card as it don’t seem there getting anything but left overs compared to over company’s **** part now be cancelling and starting again elsewhere and not seeing anything at all this year first and last time for me with oc

I wouldn’t take that comment all that seriously. Nvidia are talking to their investors and shareholders more than anyone. They say it’s a demand problem, not a supply one (every demand problem is a supply problem). Nvidia are making these as fast as they can (they need a good holiday quarter). You’ll get yours this month.

I thought i could snipe a card when they come in stock but i failed for the past 3 weeks so i ordered from work unfortunatelly not drunk was working in an out of hours service, i am a Gp , fed up better to preorder even now i do think was a better move than waiting for the stock problem to be solved eventually .

Ha! Fair enough - sorry for my assumption . You're probably not entirely wrong, but there is a heck of a queue in front of you - in theory, it will start moving faster and faster as the months go by, but as someone above posted Nvidia are seeing stock issues trailing into the new year at the very least.

That’s low, I would give it a couple of weeks as we should get weekly position updates, that will give an idea of stock flow. You can make a decision then, but you will find some people may be up in the 1000’s in the queue.

Yeah if you are 200 or less in Queue it would be insanity to cancel at this point. There is no magic shipments coming anywhere else where you are going to suddenly get one unless you are camping card maker sites themselves and get lucky.

well, the ones that say in stock didn't show as 'in stock' yesterday. The Palits did though, and they have updated their news page to say these have been shipped.

I bet there are some scalpers that are getting concerned now, particularly as stock updates will mean their eBay listings are likely to break the terms of service (having to have the item shipped within 30 days).

ps, if anyone sees a listing of a card bought from OcUK... please send it to me. I can give you 1 internet cookie, a virtual hug and a photo of my dog.

I don't mean to underestimate you, but how would they even find out which order number the ocuk corresponds to in order to cancel it? Of course, if there is such a magical technique I'm sure I don't need to remind you to not say it out because scalpers can use that info. to be even crappier human beings than usual.

i'd take it with a pinch of salt - but yesterday there was only Palit showing in stock... and yesterday they shipped aload of Palits...

it might have been the smart move, I ordered the Tuf oc and from what I’ve seen I’m about 500 in front of the standard folks in the queue compared to the oc one.

It does suggest on that basis then that there might be Gigabyte Visions about to be mailed out to customers from competitors so fingers crossed OcUK have some also.
