*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Hi Guys,
Morning to all, I have been following this thread since the archived one hoping to get updates for MSI Gaming Trio, sadly I'm 823 in the official queue. Cancelled today, I realized its going to take until next year to get it. Hope everyone receive their order soon.

It's the OC Strix they are prioritising over the non OC version, not the TUF, but some people have been assuming it for the TUF too, but there's been no indication of that.
Think people are going of the fact a most of the updates here and other places seem to be getting TUF OC before non OC. Also as far back as I remember most always sell the higher end more expensive variations and models of cards first then slowly push out the cheaper ones. Makes more sense to do this. We have in 4bwroking days Gibbo posted 3 times Asus TUF OC coming in and nothing about non. Also Juan Jose Guerreuo himself has said OC first. No one really knows and can only go off what we hear and see

What day do they send the update email? All our money is currently sitting in OC's bank as you can be sure they didn't pay up front for their stock! On the interest alone i bet they could supply their staff with a 3090 each!

When are we going to get some HONEST and INFORMATIVE answers OC??

How can you be sure? Because you're wrong about them making interest on the money they've taken. Just google instant access business acounts.

You're not entitled to anything more than being in a queue for a GPU. Nobody has a crystal ball to tell you when you're going to get one. Wait patiently for the email while reading the various updates from AIBs or cancel.

Hey ROG Fam,

We are aware that RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 cards significantly exceeded demands, which can cause frustration for many who have been looking forward to our new cards.

So we'd like to show you some measures we've already taken to ensure that all the GPUs we're getting into the right hands as soon as possible: yours!

✅ Delivery without detour
All available GPUs will be assembled and tested on our cards asap (up to 144 hours). Afterwards, the finished cards are delivered directly from the factory to the UK. So some stopovers are eliminated and we save valuable time.

✅ From real gamers...
Our graphics cards are designed for PC gaming. We have no interest in them being used for anything other than gaming. We therefore only deliver our RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 cards to shops that we know sell directly to private customers.

✅... for real gamers
We recommend the shops we work with to issue only one card per customer. In addition, trusted accounts are preferred.

What's next?

Due to the enormous demand, which even exceeded the highest expectations, we have to ask for a little patience.

We are constantly bringing in new stock as frequent as possible. Please ensure that you’ve signed up for notifications with your preferred retailer to place your order so you're not disappointed.

We hope you can all understand that we are doing everything in our power to get the new cards to you guys as soon as possible.

Reading up on a few different articles last night the issue was not to do with the yield of the batches but purely demand. So I think the RTX 3070 will have the exact same problem and sell out super quickly. With that being said I think the yields on a RTX 370 would be allot higher and easier to archive. I have nothing to base that off but I imagine being a lower clocked card it's easier to achieve.

"The 3080 and 3090 have a demand issue, not a supply issue," he said. "The demand issue is that it is much much greater than we expected – and we expected really a lot."

Pandemic + WFH + New PC Builders = Very high demand I guess. :D

Another day on the forums - only about another 90 left before we get our cards! We need local support groups - anyone live near Surbiton? I can book the local church hall where we can share our stories. We can get through this together guys!

In the queue for one of the less popular cards, pny 3080 . Looking through stock update messages there does not appear to be a single pny card shipped.

@Gibbo is this the case? Would be good to know if OC are expecting any of these cards soon.
Realise everyone wants to know when various card lines might arrive, but for card manufacturers where no cards have shipped at all it would be good to get a sit rep.

same havent got any info either

I wouldn't advise anyone to pre order an RTX30xx card at the moment. AMD is about to launch its new line up and there are claims its as good as Nvidias cards, how long the wait will be is anyones guess, but it might prove to be the better option. Then there's the launch of the RTX3070 comming which has been delayed to build up some stock, and it is possible if you ordered one of those cards, that you would receive it within 44 days, providing you place it soon after launch. Performance on this card is supposedly better than the RTX2080Ti, which might well be good enough for you?

this is solid advice! thank you
