im 702 in the queue for msi gaming trio x. what would you do stick or twist? the only only silver lining is at least i may be able to wait and see if amds offering is any good as i imagine ill be waiting a lot longer than the 28th of october to receive my 3080

This is exactly how I feel, now me being 1411 in the queue breaks my heart to hear you're at 700 for the same card but I can at least see if the AMD cards will be any use :confused:
 
I think what bugs me the most is I feel I was totally mislead. When I ordered the Strix non-OC they even had the promo for watchdogs on my order which to me tells me I’m going to at least receive my card before that expires. How can they advertise that promo for the card when they haven’t even had a single non-OC strix card in stock before it expires? I feel I was suckered in, now my money is tied up and I have no other option but to stick it out since I’m late to the party if I go to a competitor

We appreciate the posts from Gibbo. But telling us some cards are due in and nothing else doesn't help anyone. I would and I'm sure everyone else would rather posts from Gibbo confirming cards have come in. Only let us know when you a actually have them Infront of you. Several times Gibbo has posted ASUS TUF OC are "due" in but no mention if they came in or not. And if any shipped. Considering a small amount of TUF OC was dude in today. And no one from queue position 4 and up got one sent out today. Are we to believe either you only got 3 cards in or they didn't come in.

Please let us know when you get them. Or continue as your doing but let us know that some shipped out.
Gibbo did do this at very start once saying they shipped all cards out today etc.
But I think telling us some are due in next day and then no update if they ever came in. Is just getting people's hopes up.

Did any ASUS TUF OC come in today and if so we're they all shipped out.

If Gibbo has said that stock is due in, then it’s come in unless otherwise stated.

As far as other cards shipping then I don’t know. I imagine the forum would be buzzing with posters saying that they’ve had shipping notifications, so make that what you will?

Its a complete joke ive had close friends of mine order strix 3080 oc cards from other competitors in the uk and have recieved them already. And overclockers havent recieved one batch of them. I thought overclockers were in the best possible position for cards but yet small numbers coming in every 3 to 4 days. Lost me as a customer when i get this card eventually...

Are you referring to the custom systems that OcUK offer? If so, the warehouse is mahooosive and afaik they pick from the same stock.

I’d be shocked if they gave pre-built systems priority. In fact, I’d liken it to a nightclub... they probably let x number of preorders in and x number of pre-built systems in to maintain fairness.

There are people very close to the front saying the got nada dispatch email today.

Due in today could mean the delivery arrived at 3:30pm and stock wasn’t scanned in to inventory in time for dispatch today.

For sanity sake, I’d always wait 24hrs after a scheduled delivery before donning a tin foil hat ;)
