And also about 15 years ago they refused to accept a CPU I returned as it was DOA. By which I mean a bunch of pins were bent. They said I must have installed it incorrectly, which is not true. I think they sent me someone else's return without having checked it first. A very long argument over several weeks, usually waiting 3-4 days for them to respond each time. Eventually they accepted the return. This experience burned me, so now I film every unboxing of expensive items I receive. Quite paranoid.

So yeah, the writing was on the wall for 3080. Don't know why I ordered from here.

I can attest to this. Have had to RMA a GTX 570 which clearly had a defect but they returned it and claimed it was fine. So I had to manually downclock the card to have it run stable. It’s happy times when everything goes smoothly though.

I buy preorder 3080 tuf oc 3.10.20 and still even don't have mail what my numbers is in queue
Super OCUK but money gone from credit cards on Monday but mail with information is not important

To be fair, you should get something at the end of this week. original emails with Q position went out just before you ordered.
 
I'm guessing OCUK don't have any EVGA cards yet then. Would be nice to know when the supposed arrival date is.

Unpleasantly surprised by how late OCUK are getting some stock.

Damn, I was refreshing that page yesterday, (only seen the cards at one other place) but didn't ever see an add to cart appear. Guess I can stop refreshing today. Guess that means I'm up to 9 in the queue here...if stock ever appears.
 
Cancelled my SEP 17th order with overclockers and used refund to order elsewhere. I got my 3080 now from a competitor and I didn't order till the 28th, weird how people who ordered same card on 17th still waiting lol. If you buy a new pc they got stock for that?
 
By the looks of things stock supply has not improved. Companies already offering pre builts with 3080/3090s, reviewers getting multiple GPUs just for useless 3D Mark competition, while we wait endlessly for stock. I am 99% sure at this point that I'll cancel my order and join the Red team.
 
I hope AMD knows it's marked and knows how to prepare for release. If they can handle this better than Nvidia, I hope they will get above Nvidia in the industry
