I run mine undervolted to 1160mV at 2050Mhz which is actually the default boost clock for the Nitro+. Never had a black screen issue since day one so I reckon people who have had problems may have had other system components interfering with the 5700XT.

I've had some minor issues, but I've also had issues with my 970, 980Ti and 1080Ti, strangely enough never had any major issues with my 7970

Would the hype/buzz not be much greater over the next few weeks running up to 28 October if they had shown something that could clearly beat a 3080? I find it odd they would hold back their best benchmarks or at least not hint at them in some way.
in that case why show a bench that isnt quite as good as the 3080, AMD may as well raise the white flag and say we aint good enough, they showing the possible new gaming cpu king,so then turn around saying we have best cpu but look we still suck at gpu, doesnt make any sense that

I will never buy RX 5700 XT because it's slow for its price.

If AMD releases a card faster than RTX 3090, I will buy it. Perhaps.

You do realise it was faster for it's price than anything Nvidia offer even now right? I know that will change soon but it has been faster than the equally priced 2060 Super for it's entire lifespan.
Correct, it was targeted for the 2060s, beating it. However, through driver updates the 5700xt went from a 2070 to 2070s competitor.

The RX 5700 XT is a mid-range 7nm card, not a high-end 16nm card which was magically done on 7nm to save cost for AMD but never for the consumers.
So, no, I don't realise the fake facts.

Just FYI, the 282 mm^2 Radeon HD 4890 was sold for $199 :D once upon a time.

But it's still cheaper when comparing to similar performing rival cards

Why is trading blows with a 3080 not good enough?

Yes, especially given that the July 7th RX 5700 XT was 20% faster than the January 2019 RTX 2060.

RTX 2060S appeared only as a response to AMD's product's launch back then.

AMD are not going to put their fastest card up there for all to see, they are not stupid, this will be a mid level card, not the XTX.

16GB vram and less power draw, it's more than good enough at same or less price.

Dont forget:

This was a loud and proud AMD there is no way they'd have held fire if they were demolishing the 3080 even if it was only a teaser without showing the full hand.

It is pretty much a given nVidia has a good idea what they are bringing as well and responded to it - companies like nVidia tend to put a lot of effort into keeping tabs on the competitor's products.
i agree nvidia know whereabouts AMD are, if they wernt worried, why they bringing more vram to the table, to keep ahead obviously, but just doesnt make sense AMD would show their best, especially when keynote is due, if true there is now zero point of the keynote now. i dont just dont see i. im no fanboy even though after 25yrs of pc gaming, ive only owned one nvidia and one intel and the odd cyrix and voodoo lol

Yes, AMD labeled it RX 6000 series of which it may be either RX 6900 XT (with 1% probability), RX 6900 (with 10% probability), RX 6800 XT with 40% probability or RX 6800 with 49% probability.

Chances are it'll be the most cut down Navi 21, Navi 22 is slightly too far away for it to be that, it's aimed more at the 3070Ti level.

as i said above, you wouldnt show your best before a keynote, i didnt say it wasnt good enough, i was saying why would a company show a product before a launch with its best product that wasnt quite good enough, you do an intel and at least massage the figures to look like it can win:D

What the hell are you talking about? 7nm wafers are massively more expensive than 16nm and your post makes absolutely no sense.
