It always surprises me how little emotion Lewis shows in such moments.

Ocon was the next big thing and the longer he was out the more clamour he was for him to get a seat, now he's got a seat and.......

It's a long time since he beat Max in Formula 3. He's never been great in F1 though. Pérez comfortably beat him in both seasons they were together.

Everyone rated Ocon so highly but I'm yet to see anything which has impressed me. In comparison to Leclerc and Gasly he's performed poorly. I would find it hard to justify his future in F1. People talk about Albon being a poor performer, but there's quite a few dudes this year (Ocon and Vettel being the others).

Prior to that drove well, qualified on pole, got off the line well. So yeah.

In fairness I thought he did well at the first corner and I do like him but he can't afford mistakes like that.

The only cars who haven't improved from their grid position - Leclerc, Vettel, Kvyat.

Leclerc did well to put that car so high, so keeping that position was an achievement. Kvyat lost his front wing to Albon's incompetence. And Vettel....?
