Cheap but "nice"

What's 'premium' about a VW Jetta? The VW badge?

It's a respectable looking mid-range brand that's not going to be an expensive liability at this age.

Just lol at the range rover and 6 series suggestions.

The A3 suggestion is fine but unlike the bigger Audis at that age doesn't have a particularly premium feel, and arguably an old A3 isn't going to be particularly impressive compared to the raft of newer PCP/lease Audis in the work car park

realistically its a focus at that monies.

You would get a decent E85 BMW Z4 for 3-4000
Make sure you get a 6 cylinder with history however.

Im confused, why are some people recommending sports cars, and others suggesting you cannot meet these requirements at all for the budget?

One group of people are plain wrong, the other have surely got the wrong end of the stick.

Are we not looking for a commuter tool?

Jeez, 3800 on bids with 2 days left on a 53 plate 2.7?

Seller is going to be very happy... :p

Get yourself one of these bad boys, an acme car upgrade... fast as anything and you can paint some stripes on it as well.
