Nice hopefully this is actually true - Buildzoid said that although the IO die was unchanged the actual limit to FCLK was probably the traces on the substrate so they might have improved them.

3200 and 3600 decent price but option available if really want to push.

I saw yesterday on a Turkish website they where claiming the FCLK on these chips will do average 2000MHz so a dram frequency of 4000MHz.

Whether that's an average or top end I could be wrong.

Maybe it's the top end considering the IMC is apparently unchanged.

Either way a 200MHz average bump in FCLK is nice.

Here is some confirmation.

Thanks, I'm new to Ryzen to pretty new to all this fabric clocking lark!

Board optimizations go a long way for DR support. Same kit struggling to stabilize at 4K on a z390 apex is doing 4500 on z490 Apex.
also DR with Rank Interleaving makes up for any speed differences vs SR
currently quad rank per channel, running 4x16GB 3120MHz 13-14-14-34 1T @1.44V.
For next system its DR or bust. #
Yet to get maximum out of it, would be nice to clock it to 4000MHz if that's the new sweet spot. Never mind the timings.

Any tips about B550 motherboards that are better at memory OC? Tomahawk?
