CBA with all this. Think I'll just stick to my decent latency 3200.

It should do as I've had my 3200/14 up to 4400 and that's on a B450.I'm hoping I can get my 3200 cl14 b die kit to run at 4000
How memory manufacturers must love AMD.
There was a flood of various 3600 speed kits after Zen2 launch. Prepare for 4000 kit invasion.
But seriously, any good 2x16GB kits at that speed that won't tank latency?
There's 2x16 bdie that behaves like any other bdie.
bdie isn't in production anymore Samsung stopped
As owner of dual rank B-die, 4000 speed could be out of reach for most kits. And gskill 2x16 rated above 3733 are quite expensiveThere's 2x16 bdie that behaves like any other bdie.
Probably the 8 pack 32gb kits 3600/16 or 3200/14 and overclock them with some extra voltage.
Absolutely. And for new buyers looking to save some cash.I hope reviews show scaling at 3200MHZ and 3600MHZ memory speeds too. It will be useful for people re-using their existing RAM kits.
Haha, touche. What? Free performance assuming your RAM is decent. This is Overclockers, not Cantbebothereds.![]()
What kind of timings did you get with these increases out of interest? It should do as I've had my 3200/14 up to 4400 and that's on a B450.
Thanks, I'm new to Ryzen to pretty new to all this fabric clocking lark!Nice hopefully this is actually true - Buildzoid said that although the IO die was unchanged the actual limit to FCLK was probably the traces on the substrate so they might have improved them.
3200 and 3600 decent price but option available if really want to push.

currently quad rank per channel, running 4x16GB 3120MHz 13-14-14-34 1T @1.44V.Board optimizations go a long way for DR support. Same kit struggling to stabilize at 4K on a z390 apex is doing 4500 on z490 Apex.
also DR with Rank Interleaving makes up for any speed differences vs SR
Didn't Zen 2 need fast 3600 memory to make up for the latency issue?
I thought the latency issue was fixed in Zen 3?
