*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

If you order a Palit, PNY or Zotac you will probably not be in for a long wait the other more popular brands will have way more back orders.
They seemed to have cleared their queues, or be close to it (not specific to any retailer, just about the market in general) so they seem a good bet for late joiners.

Yeah but when I asked ocuk about it they said that all the codes have been given out and that there are non left
Yeah they told me all the codes have been allocated to the specific order for the specific card and if people cancel then the codes goes back into the pool (but do they really ? As the later cards are no longer listed with the promotion). Also if you cancel you original order for another card then you cannot transfer your launch day watch dogs code you loose it which seems rather pathetic a petty after all this waiting we have gone through.

This is completely unhinged. "Beta" doesn't even mean anything.
Can we keep this topic to talking about graphics cards maybe?
Its spot on on Gpu shortage topic. If You not see why there is more guys with money to burn in September guess ya dont know many chaps that need to ask gf/wifes if they can buy a card for own money lol. I woprk with 4 of them :D

It'll take some time to get enough useful data because it relies on competitor shipments going out too, and I've only just started it. It's mainly just so I can see how much competitor is sending out per shipment and I'll know whether to jump over to them when they reopen preorders.

But just as a nice early comparison, they have 886 outstanding orders across all ASUS cards. OCUK have around 4300 (minus cancellations in the last couple of weeks, very few people have submitted data this week. But also the highest queue people may not have submitted... so could be higher too)

You can see why OCUK isn't publicly saying queue sizes at least. Especially as they have the audacity to still be taking orders... honestly just from the ASUS list I'd say don't even bother preordering from OC at this point. Other shops will be swimming in stock well before these queues ever finish.

I can attest to this... was in the mad throng on release day, didn't press F5 enough (or more didn't trust that the websites of anyone offering a card wouldn't **** themselves just after the bank authorized the money. No-one selling a 30xx had a site in a happy place on that disastrous day) so didn't get into a queue. I've lurked in the hope of getting some info that would lead me to a card. Yesterday managed to get a zotac in a basket on a competitor site, arrived today. They are out there... if you can be arsed with the constant looking then eventually you'll see one :) (and end up in the same F5 battle, except you've a much better chance of winning).

Interesting data points, thanks for sharing.

How's the card?

Interesting to hear about despatch Emails for the Inno OC2 and X3, but nothing regarding the X4 and I was expecting the X3 & X4 to be shipped together, but then again I could be wrong about that.

With no TUF cards since launch wouldn't it be nice if they had spent that time building stock so a DREAM delivery might arrive. I still won't get mine being 800+ in-line, still, those before me would get these and that gets me closer.

Decent. I haven't tweaked it but seems pretty stable. Built a new rig around it (10700k, 3090) and getting timespy results 17k plus . Control with everything maxed + dlss = 100fps , now downloading some other stuff to see what I get :)

Not expecting to get too much out of OC'ing the zotac but being fair on the admittedly small sample I'm looking at, it doesn't need it.

I wasn't going to go 3090 but been struggling on a 1070 for a while now and bored of waiting heh. Not likely to change this rig for a good few years (last one lasted 5), unless resale of the 3090 is good enough to get me onto the 40xx when it arrives. Admittedly the 90 is overkill for what I really wanted out of it but it might encourage me to do some AI dev :)

If they told me my cards been sat on a pallet in a warehouse for three weeks just so they can do a big load at once I'd be kinda mad not gonna lie. At this point I'd be willing to pay the shipping to fly mine by air direct from asus factory to my door tbh.

Cancelled my order for Asus TUF non OC, was 1776th in line, mainly I Object to my money being held for what will probably be Months on end. I know you will say well thats what you signed up for by pre-ordering, but sorry I dont see it purely that way.
I'm not pointing the finger at Overclockers for this shambles, Nvidia are the ones at fault here. Do you really believe they were taken by surprise for the huge demand for a card which has almost 2X the performance of say the 2070 for a similar price point, utter Bo**ocks. Best of luck to you all waiting patiently or impatiently for your cards, I'll stick with my 1080 for now and pick something in the New Year when hopefully there will be availability. May go the AMD route as I'm gaming at 1440p, in the meantime my money will be back in my account until product becomes available. An old saying springs to mind here, it starts "A fool and his Money............"

Sounds like some excellent performance. Which is worth remembering for these 3080s- there isn't much difference between cards so grab what you can.

Can't help but wonder how many Orders Overclockers had though...... Suppose 8,000 at roughly £750 each, thats a lot of Squealer, Low interest or not and 8,000 is probably conservative.....
