*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Where did he say this?
A few people received their cards but I'm still waiting for my Ichill x4

He came in here and answered a few questions last night, that's when he said the inno3d shipment was still in HK.

It was literally 'its still in HK' and no further info, so hopefully will be flying today and with OC by end of week.

no I melted :( , I literally recently built a pretty expensive PC and the TUF non-OC was the final part, so I couldn't stomach spending any more money on a pre-built just to salvage the GPU :(
No, dont blame you. With the financial loss and hassle of resale, you may as well by from a scalper.

Looks like the 3080 might struggle with 60 fps 4k watchdogs with rtx and dlss

Th 3090 manages it barley. Dame the fps with native 4k with rtx on is scary low

The 3080 is still not ready for 4k. It places playable 4k firmly on the map but you knocking below 70fps.

Ill be sticking with 1440p for the 3080 series, maybe in later years could move to 4k 165Hz when they are common as muck and there are 5080s kicking around.

An online retailer in Australia (a really good one that started out just doing gear for PC cases) stated in an email that they are unlikely going to get any ASUS TUF 3080 cards until 2021!
Sigh... Looks like Gibbo is right. ASUS are the ones lying here. Covering up for Nvidia's mess of a launch.

Guys I have no reason to lie here, the situation is poor, VERY POOR, I do not communicate as nothing to communicate people complain, then I communicate news and people complain.

What we want, is what you want, IS STOCK, but it really is just very poor.

Our group is vast, Caseking Germany, Globaldata in Portugal, PCGear in Australia, Kellytech in Hungary and JimmsPC in Finland and they have all communicated to me they are also seeing exactly the same in their regions, next to no stock and have received no more stock than ourselves so far.

It is a bad situation right now, we all want stock but the stock is not there to give, NVIDIA need to ramp production up massively and board partners need to get building, it is just the waiting game and since launch the key word has been patience.

It might be said that it is not the information in and of itself, but the way in which it is presented. There is a lot of talk about a competitors table which as I keep saying does not give very much information despite people mistakenly thinking it does, however it is incredibly easy to read and also to find the historical data about what actually has been shipped.
It might be worth producing such a table if only to placate certain people who seem to believe it is the font of all knowledge !

@Gibbo Thank you for everything you are doing. I can only imagine how annoying this situation is for yourself.

Have you had any thought of closing the pre orders off and fulfilling the orders before reopening? Perhaps asking people if people would like to move to other brands/ 3080 SKUs to bring the queue down? You are currently the only place in the UK who is taking pre orders that I am aware of and the pile is likely only growing higher because of this.

Very poor show from Nvidia and ASUS.

As one of their biggest partners of Nvidia, can you have a word with them about getting the Watch Dogs Legion promo code extended please. It is the least they could do after this cockup imo.

This.

Or at least put a message up front with rough numbers and a rough wait time etc. Newbies won't know the situation and will just add one to basket and pay, not knowing what's going on. Then you will lose a future repeat customer.
