I have sympathy because I almost went non-OC (chose OC for a shorter queue), but the idea of waiting in a queue and then watching people enter ahead of you - although you'd argue sidestepping - doesn't seem fair at all. The issue is you make it so the Non-OC buyer now feels rewarded for their loyalty and compensated for their situation while the OC customer is held back and now get to watch a dozen other queues going faster. Asus have screwed over Non-OC, but you're asking OCUK to screw over OC customers to make up for it.

well the way I saw it was that if OC Qer #49 cancelled, only 1 non-OC Qer could take his spot.
Thus as far as OC Qer #50 is concerned, he has not gone backwards in the Q, and will still be the 50th person to receive an OC card.

But this would be completely impractical to manage from Overclockers POV!

That's good if you are running games at 1440p or below but it is very inconsistent in 4k. Some games tested cannot handle 60 fps. So 3070 is not an option for me.

I’ve worked in IT for ten years and am the complete opposite of a hipster (beards should be banned). when you spend all day having to get things working the last thing you want and need is a flakey phone. I'm 1002 in the non OC TUF queue as of Friday so there is no hope of me getting a card this year it seems. What an absolutely ridiculous situation!

Send them a webnote ask which cards have to shortest queues and cancel and order another card unless you are an Asus fanboy or whatever, do you want a 3080 NOV/DEC or next year.

Yes that's what i did with a zotac trinity when from 120 to 28 in a day.

Unfortunately the TUF is the only card that will fit in my case other then the EVGA XC3 and there's zero chance of getting one of those either (its also a worse card). The TUF is pretty much my only option

Yes, i think the best of the lesser brands would be the zotac trinity oc with it's 5 year warranty, ask them , hint that you may cancel. i asked them as i was waiting for 6 weeks and all that was coming in to ocuk was the overclocked versions and people who ordered days after me were getting their cards.

Just submitted my order cancellation. Not blaming OcUK for anything here but this whole NVIDIA sh*tshow is hilarious. Might get a 3070 or one of the AMD cards if the same thing doesn’t happen. If you’re in the queue for a Gaming Trio and above position 920(ish) then good news, you’re one spot closer to getting your card.
