You mean swap to a 6900xt... $1k works out to be £770. So say £850
Don't forget duty, handling charges etc. Its gonna work out £999£920. Gotta add some VAT @ 20%.
Plus UK ROFL markup.

Yep, I think the 6900 makes the higher-priced AIB 3080s bad value now.Only £50 more than what I am paying for an Asus Rog Strix OC for the performance of a 3090.
I am just massively put off by going back to AMD after dealing with two cards which had some of the worst driver support I have ever seen. Nvidia have got their driver game down...
Nah, no one would do that lolIf the 5800XT will fit in my ITX build and is actually available at launch then I will cancel my TUF order, assuming the prices aren't gouged.
So I was on the german South American rainforest website staring at preorder for EVGA 3080 to be released on the 30th of October (now all gone so don't bother going there) and a big message stating that even though it is sold by the said company (so no 3rd party seller!) it cannot be sent to my location in UK!! Now this is new!!??
Back to out of stockHi Everyone. Nvidia FE status changed from out of stock to coming soon.
Keep an eye out for it.
Nvidia might be gearing up to spoil AMD's reveal today
First of all, those saying NV's site didn't update. IT DID. There was a BUY NOW button (I also have 'photo proof' of this)
I'm happy you got one, but even with a 5 second refresh on the correct page there was never a buy button for me.
So I'd guess the update didn't hit all of the Nvidia servers in a timely manner.
On sales pages like that they send headers to tell the browser not to cache, so you'll always get the latest versionDoes refreshing it that many times no just end up showing you the cached version of the site?
lol scalpers aren't scalping to make just £50I said if i was in 300+ queue i would have canceled myself and try get one of scalpers for exrtra 50 quid![]()
