*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

£920. Gotta add some VAT @ 20%.

Plus UK ROFL markup.

Only £50 more than what I am paying for an Asus Rog Strix OC for the performance of a 3090.

I am just massively put off by going back to AMD after dealing with two cards which had some of the worst driver support I have ever seen. Nvidia have got their driver game down...

If the 5800XT will fit in my ITX build and is actually available at launch then I will cancel my TUF order, assuming the prices aren't gouged.

Yep, I think the 6900 makes the higher-priced AIB 3080s bad value now.
Anything over £800 starts looking poor value by comparison.

Once the review sites online and on youtube get hold of the cards and test them in real world situation that will be the true testing ground.

When using the new cards with last gen AMD CPUS or Intel CPUS, performance might not look so hot, tons of speculation to be had out of todays AMD presentation for sure...but as always, time will tell.

PLUS do the cards need PCIE 4.0 motherboards to get the best out of the cards?

Are the AMD figures totally skewed towards having the latest AMD tech !!!

6800Xt is lovingly, but with two weeks far from my Inno X3, i'd rather get this and see how i like it. And if i don't like the performance, there will always be someone who will like a card per card exchange. I have a Freesync Premium/G-Sync compatible monitor so i am winning either way.

Well, I will give OC to the end of next week, then I am going to cancel if the queue position doesn't jump drastically with this news and the shipments of GB gaming OC due in this/next week. I have had a t*t full now.

So I was on the german South American rainforest website staring at preorder for EVGA 3080 to be released on the 30th of October (now all gone so don't bother going there) and a big message stating that even though it is sold by the said company (so no 3rd party seller!) it cannot be sent to my location in UK!! Now this is new!!??

Nah, that's pretty common actually. As they have local sites, many things won't allow you to order internationally. There are exceptions of course, but this isn't one of them

Ryzen 5900 and an AMD 6900XT with Direct Memory will be intersting to see hwta the advantage will be....

Stumpped on what I get my son for his rebuild now. moving from Zen 1 1800X and 1080 might not be a massive jump if I go to the modest end of the market...

First of all, those saying NV's site didn't update. IT DID. There was a BUY NOW button (I also have 'photo proof' of this)

I'm happy you got one, but even with a 5 second refresh on the correct page there was never a buy button for me.

So I'd guess the update didn't hit all of the Nvidia servers in a timely manner.

Glad people are getting the FE cards, its import MSRP prices are stuck to not the inflated version we keep seeing across the retailers currently.
