*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Also anyone worried about their watch dogs legion code I wouldn't even worry about it, I played it last night and it's the most soul-less and bland video game I've played in a while, sure it has RTX but it plays like a game from 5 years ago.

It isn't all their fault and Nvidia has screwed up this release good style. Maybe some mitigation due to COVID, but they should have been realistic about what they could deliver.

But they should have only taken orders for the cards they were expecting to receive. The fact they are still taking orders without any details on the situation to inform people is a bit shocking.
Personally, I don't have a problem with OC providing a pre-order service for those that want it.
It also makes absolutely no difference to those of us already waiting.

No, they aren't binned at all by Nvidia and they can't be until it's a finished card when Asus are testing them they are overclocking nicely so only the ones which fail become non OC cards (the inferior silicon)......................................
yep so who would actually want an inferior product at the moment. Eventually when demand for OC has dropped i expect the same chips to go in both varients and that means you get a much better card for your money :)

Gibbo: If someone were to pre-order the ASUS TUF 3080 (either OC or non-OC) right now, what's the approx queue this someone would face in front of him/her? Are we talking about thousands, a few hundreds, or a hundred?

Any chance this person would get the card in less than 2 months?

(I know this has probably been asked like a billion times, oh well)

I think I saw someone ordered a few days ago and was 1099th in the queue. While we've had shipments and cancellations since then, I bet loads have already moved over from Non-OC. Zero chance of being below 1,000.

Plus if you wanted before Christmas they'd need to be shipping 100 a week plus 200 cancellations up to Christmas. If timeframe is important to you, look at some over cards here Palits I think are moving quick? Or join the F5 warriors.

An OK amount of Gigabyte Eagle OC 3080 are due next week and a very small amount of Gigabyte Gaming & Vision 3080 are due.

Any sign of them yet? @GIGA-Man said there would be a shipment (of Eagles) in the teens this week - and then a larger shipment next week...but later said that there was now only a slim chance of them arriving next week. Feel like I'm scraping around on the floor looking for scraps of tasty vagueness.

..
Do you even know how to read?

So if on 20th he said that 20 X2 and 3090 X3 will be arriving on that week(19-23 oct), and next week(26-30 oct) the 3080X/X4 should be collected from HK, and this week on Monday or Tuesday he said that they are still in HK (again during the 26-30th of october), how in the world you know they are not coming and it's a certainty? You spread this misinformation again and again . Please check your facts before commenting on what you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Inno3d customers should wait for next week info. Most likely we will get our cards between 9th and 13th if something completely awful doesn't happen. In this moment we know they are still in HK but should be shipped this week to Uk.

With you levels of appalling bad manners I don't know whether I should even respond to you, but there are some of us with access to more information than maybe you imagine.

"Please check your facts before commenting on what you clearly have no idea what you are talking about." Right back at you!

This morning I spole to CS at OCUK, and they have nothing on their system about these cards or this shipment.

"Do you even know how to read?" Again you are reflecting your own inability not to read, but to comprehend what has been written !

Which part of "If they haven't been shipped by now" indicates certainty things aren't comming? Companies often run tests on English comprehension at interview stage, you would fail this test because although you can read the words, you cannot comprehend their meaning. This says if they are shipped they are on their way however if they haven't left by now they aren't coming, this is based on Gibbo telling us about the freight forwarding company never keeping anything longer than 7 days because they don't have the warehouse space or financial margins to support that. They make up a shipment as soon as they possibly can and get it out the door.
So on that basis they could have been recalled by Inno, forwarded to the wrong destination, shipped to another market, or even stolen.

They might well have been shipped and are on their way in which case we should see them soon, but if they haven't been shipped by now it's so far outside the normal time frame that something has gone wrong, hence my belief they aren't going to come.

Use insulting language like that again though and I will just put you on ignore - time to grow up and be an adult !

Not a link to a competitor.... just showing how brazen some scalpers can be... His amazon storefront name... :D

Lol!!

I can't share it due to it technically being a competitor, but if you search for RTX 3070 on a popular auction site there's a really good meme in the listings :P Costs £938

im actually looking forward to playing it. i enjoyed the last 2. 2077 does look better though.

As for the codes its the principle. A lot of people were using the £50-60 value to justify the extra cost of the 3080. Now if you don't get a code its almost like you paid more for it and that isn't right.

I think it would be prudent to cancel order and re order once nvidia will offer new game code with every purchase. If everyone do it and we could organize between ourselves order in which new orders should be made, then we would retain our original position in a queue and would get a chance for new game if and when card is.shipped. We will not get code for watch dogs legions anymore so what is the point of keeping the pre order?

glad I wasn't the only one that thought that.

I'm hoping What Gibbo said is still correct. Was hoping to get mine this week.
