*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

okay so just got off the phone with someone very helpful at OC, don't know why gibbo wasn't able to tell us this himself but supposedly innos cards are still in hong kong and wont be moving until a flight bringing them over can be booked. The issue is that apple have booked the majority of the shipping slots so the flight cant be confirmed for even next week as it will only occur when there is availability
Really? Made an order from Razer on Monday and it arrived from Hong Kong on Thursday! Obviously not a huge bulk shipping order, but I don't think that's an issue....

This is why I'm annoyed at the "update" from gibbo. Saying most cards is useless, if tuf non-OC is included I'll be able to get one, but if it's not, then I'd just be getting my hopes up for nothing.

Until he specifically confirms non-OCs are included in the shipment I'll keep looking elsewhere and cancel if I find something suitable, but if he confirms non-OCs are coming next week I can finally chill for a bit knowing I'll be getting my card.

(Or not, as seems to be the case recently quite a lot with other "small" shipments)

If you're 250+ posts, it's only 90 days.
Oh

A small amount of all Gigabyte 3090's are due end of next week.
A small amount of most of the 3080's are due end of next week.
A OK amount of all 3070's due end of next week.

Hmm no mention of the large shipment of MSI that was due end of the month. :(

Probably part of the delayed shipments quote

It should be today right. The competition is expecting a MSI delivery.

no dude. i just got off the phone to DPD and its a scam email.....
CAREFULL ALL

Thanks for info, never had a DPD scam email, had some for FEDEX, but they are obvious scams as never ordered anything with them as delivery agent.
Keep getting the automated Amazon Prime Scam call though.

So no card for another 2 weeks.

At this rate I'll probably be cancelling and going for an AMD card soon. Since my gigabyte queue is moving on average 6 cards a day I'm still looking at 4 months!!!

Surprised someone got a 3070, was tempted to grab one of those instead then figured what's the point.
