Great video. Very interesting to see just how much stuff goes into engineering one of these things. Now you can see why they cost £60.
Yeah, gives a better idea of adaptive triggers, presumably those small motors will be able to adjust extremely quickly to move the lever to limit/resist the trigger movement, and using worm gears they should be able to take very high torque loads.

The silicone damper under the buttons is a nice touch too, to try and quieten down the clack of the buttons returning.

I think all the circuit boards and ASICs was surprising. I bet there's more computing power in that DualSense than powered the moon landings, to use an old adage.

So Ubisoft have pulled that article saying some of their games won’t work with ps5...? Hm

Probably got slapped by Sony. They did this before when they said there would be no PS3 compatibility on PS5. That got removed.

Anyway, I guess I better get cracking on Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition on PS4 as that's in the "BOOTABLE" category on PS5 so who knows.

I think it’s best waiting to see for ourselves whether these games will run or not rather than quoting sources (even though it was ubi themselves) which are unreliable :p I trust what Sony say more than what ubi are spouting.

we will know for sure soon enough once reviewers with the console can actually test these games and let us know once the nda is up

As above, most people dip a toe into BC but it's really not something that would be a deal breaker and most people are looking forward to the next great game.
On the PS I have replayed very few games, despite the system having some of the best games ever, because they don't change - it's the same gfx every time, and perhaps this is why PS fans are less enthused about it?
On the PC I have replayed loads of games (HL, HL2, FarCry, Crysis, Doom series, Wolfensteins, GTA), especially when I get a new gfx card, to see how much better they look........and I think this is what is attractive to XsX BC - the older games will look loads better, and the games will play better.

I do not get the whole replaying same games.. especially if its just from last gen.
It is good for someone who didn't play the original in my opinion ..

Not sure I will get PS5 until 2021 but wondering if the official PS4 wireless headset will work on it? I still use it lots and really like it (it's from like 2013 or so). I guess I should just upgrade it when times comes though.

Also, will COD: MW run ok on PS5? I am a bit out the loop with the backwards compatibility info. I don't really like the look of Black Ops Cold War so ideally want to stick to MW. Will it get upscaled or enhanced in any way if running on PS5?

How? I grinded the heck out of the Uncharted series for the Platinum trophies both on PS3 and PS4 jumping between both platforms. Horizon Zero Dawn and Spider-Man was another.

I love uncharted series but I would play it again probably.
Although ps4 remake was in 60fps and was probably much smoother I still wouldn't play it again

That’s some good going! I don’t fancy playing that trilogy on the hardest difficulty setting. It drives me mad on normal. :p

It was hell on Brutal difficulty. Extremely limited ammo, 6 - 8 bullets and one shot you were near death if not one shot to your death.

Even Crushing was hell on the first game on the jeep chase through the jungle. 3 - 4 shots and you were dead, from every direction.

Seems to confirm here it will work

That, and the fact England will be in 2nd lockdown until the 2nd December...

I had a feeling this was coming anyway, was part of my justification for pre ordering a PS5. I doubt it'll be the last either.

I've taken the week off when Playstation 5 launches as this is probably the closest I'll get to a holiday in 2020!
