*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Stupid is stupid, but more to the point, why is OCUK 'still' taking pre-orders?, that is beyond belief.

Hi,
It's because there are many people who don't mind when the card comes, and have no time or will to sit searching websites. They are happy enough knowing the card will ultimately arrive, and they can meanwhile get on with all the other things they do in life.

Haha fair one, any idea how long cancellation takes to be processed and money arrive back into my account? Think the 6800xt will have to be what I go for and try and get it on release day this time to at least get an early queue position
1-3 days according to OC customer service, about 3-5 days from most customer experience.

Well, it seems their main UK competitor (the one with the nice delivery schedule updated regularly) has opened up their preorders on several models of 3070...and actually give due dates underneath the preorder button! (16th and 30th November for anyone interested)

Looks like I'll be cancelling this farce and taking one of those, I only play @1440p so it's probably overkill anyway.

Cyberpunk with RTXON here I come!

Update on my 3080 Strix OC cancellation as I saw some people mentioning it:
- Cancelled card on Monday, no email confirmation but told it would come in 1-2 days and also told not to phone as they were “busy” (not sure how that happens with FA cards)
- Tues - Fri: no email confirmation
- Sat: Phoned up, waited in a queue that tells me to stay on the line and they value my service lol. First 3 times, waiting for like 4-6 mins and automatic hang up.
- Rage mode.
- 4th time the charm, to be fair the chap on the other end was a nice guy, but what do you know: “I’m sorry the order isn’t cancelled - did you want to cancel it?”.

Anyone waiting for a cancellation I would hunt it down like a Predator hunts Aliens if you don’t hear back after 1 day. Worst case if you can’t get thru - phone your credit card company and get them to claw the money back (I was prepped to do this if call #4 failed).

Depending on payment method is how fast you’ll get it back, again to be fair to these guys I got Amazon refund confirmation after 30 mins of phoning up.

It does go to show the clown status these guys are getting is somewhat justified.

Hope everyone stays safe thru Lockdown V2 and those waiting for cards may the graphics gods smile upon you soon.

Will this be available to us in the UK soon?

It appears Caseking have been able to ship Inno3D RTX3080 iChill X3 cards, but to date zero stock has been shipped from OCUK, and it isn't looking promising for the remainder of the year either with alleged phantom stock supposedly sat portside for three weeks now!
So it looks like all stock goes to Caseking and OCUK get the leftover dregs

That tells me nothing, knowing from my brother, romanian stores are selling models I haven't seen here weekly since launch day, even if it's small number, so each region with it's delivery( e.g. balcan region is getting supplied from czech republic). But point is we are definitely not getting our cards soon, either Inno's fault or oc.uk, probably both, but oc.uk shipped 3080x2 and some 3090 as well. Now we have no news why more than apple, but it's impossible not to find some room as I believe it's impossible they got everything. I don't mind waiting, but I would like to know why. At least with KFA we know that the manufacturer told they are focusing all 3080 on Asia, and will only send limited 3070 and 3090 in europe, but we don't have even that info to work on.
