At this point It's just dissapointment. I was hoping to play Watchdogs Legion and Cyberpunk on Launch. Watchdogs is out... Cyberpunk tho.... lets see. hehehe...

I can afford a 3090 and had one on pre-order, though changed my mind once the 3080ti news and RX6900XT performance came to light. That and the fact that the Asus Strix OC model I had on order had 5 cards every 2 weeks coming into stock, the 3080ti would have arrived before my card did!

Nothing about this post is true 3080 ti news NEVER came to light it was never officially announced. The closest them admitting there was a Ti/Super is when it was cancelled.
And I don’t know where your pulling 5 delivered a week from...first was 13 then a gap then 28..if anything it’s 13/14 a week and the 28 was to account for the missed week. It’s terrible yes but don’t know where you pulled 5 a fortnight from.
As a aside if your constantly chasing what’s around the corner you would never complete a build.
You had one on pre order got buyers remorse or chewed out by a partner cancelled preorder and are now justifying it with a imaginary card...
“3090 is terrible I heard they are releasing a 4070 in 2022 that will be twice as powerful and only half the price...” that’s not a real quote it’s me speculating and what’s the bet when it does come people will be saying same about 4080/4090?
We all know NVidia has overcharged for 3090 but if you want to be cut and dry about it it’s still the best.
My father died last August and I was left some money, my dad was a travel the world have a good time and die in Thailand type. That’s just not me so I spent £1700 on a GPU rather than a year long death trip to Thailand.
He went for a month and after a year of not coming back drinking every day and 50p packets of cigarettes died there (it was absolute nightmare getting him home.)

It’s that you can’t afford it really isn’t it ?

So a competitor has started receiving Asus Strix non oc 3080 but OC hasn’t hasn’t had any deliveries.

I wonder if we’ll start seeing the non oc start surfacing now

Edit: and they’re expecting to receive just under 400 this week of 3090’s mixture of all brands and models.
Looks like their biggest shipment yet.

People are scared of the Non-Oc now though right ?
I’ve usually heard the non-oc and oc cards are the same add your Overclock don’t pay extra bla bla bla.
But with this release heard don’t buy a non-oc card it will be a bad bin.
Basically it’s only a non-oc because it couldn’t cut it as a OC.
I’ve no idea which 2 of the statements is actually true I’ve always bought OC models.
