*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

We have written confirmation from Gigabyte rep, on this very forum, saying that they shipped more than 1 gigabyte gaming oc per week to OC UK but OC UK only shipped one card per week. If this is not evidence then I don't know what is.

To be particular, I'm talking about the "they just put lots in prebuilds". No proof of that. There is clearly at BEST some major communications and shipping issues between OC and Gigabyte, and no clear answers to explain what is going on have been given, I just don't think the evidence supports claims they are being put in prebuilds. I'm willing to believe they have never entered OC's stock, whether Gigabyte didn't send them, or OC redirected them to CaseKing, or Gibbo is selling them out the back of his Ferrari in the town centre I don't know. I'm just fairly certain it isn't prebuilds to blame.

Thank god....finally a dispatch email from a competitor for the Eagle I snagged yesterday evening.

Although the way this entire charade has played out, I now fully expect a low yield tactical nuclear device to somehow detonate when my package arrives at the depot..... :D:D

I sat for an hour with that bloody timer going and got nothing

I ordered mine on release date at half 2 due to website issues. My estimated Q was 61 my official Q was 56 and early on it got changed to 52. Still no movement. The graphics card manufacturers need to get their act together. Shipping at best 10 in nearly two months to a seller is terrible.
I'm near the top and haven't moved since day 1. They haven't shipped any.

I've looked at website (most well known electrical goods chain in the UK) and they've gone from "stock arriving on 05/11" for the Vision 3080 OC to every single Gigabyte 30 series GPU showing as "out of stock". On the other AIB's you still get the "Add to basket" option (but cannot proceed to check out as none available). I'm already regretting my Vision 3080 order as I don't think I'll be seeing it in the next 3/4 months even at Q position 117... starting to think Gigabyte are manufacturing single digits per day or none at all!

Gigabyte are shipping them, OCUK are getting them, but they aren't coming to us - we don't know what they are doing with them. There was a delivery on the 30th to OCUK, and there should be another this week. But OC are pretending that they haven't had any. On Customer Service Discord, they flat out denied getting the stock
Also to mention that they admitted that they had received some, and then changed their mind minutes after - I suspect that particular CS member got shouted at for being honest, and told to revise their statement.

He did say last week a "small amount of most 3080's". But never clarified on what.

He's since clarified a small amount of strix non-OC are coming, which as that's mentioned separately I'm assuming tuf non-OC wasn't included in the "most" either.

Safe bet that EVGA and Gigabyte are also not in the "most"

... which leads me to suspect that "a small amount of most 3080's" just means we're getting a few PNY, a few PALIT, some MSI and some ASUS OC's. which is why I'm actually kinda mad at @Gibbo for being too lazy to say anything more than "most", because it gets peoples hopes up unfairly and is a textbook example of OCUK's bad communication being an actual OCUK problem, not something they can blame elsewhere for.

Hey, people who ordered Inno3d need some love too :p

It's like how i've had my 3080 EVGA FTW3 Ultra order for the last two months as a day one order, ordered within 30 minutes of release. i'm now 8th in the queue. OCUK has not recieved a single shipment of the cards according to them however Caseking is showing orders nearly weekly. clearly something is going on here that they're not telling us, nothing we can quite do about it though.

"Non-OC TUF 3080 down from 1659 to 1452 to 1359 to 1220."

Ok I'm out! Pre-order Cancelled.

Secured an MSI 3080 Ventus 3x OC from a German store for about £70 over the odds (or about a tenner more than one or two of the official UK resellers are scalping for) by using the Telegram apps '3080 PartAlert' channel then getting it sent to UK via mailboxde.com.
Took a little work and perseverance but took less than a fortnight from beginning to end.

If you're up in the thousands TUF non-OC queue you'll be at least one place up:) Good luck chaps.

Ive literally just done this!! Thanks for the heads up, got me a 1 x GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 Eagle 10G, Grafikkarte!! Now, how do i get it forwarded from the Mailboxde.com address?

If that's true isn't that fraud? Why should we care or even be aware that OC UK are part of some other company? No where on their page at any time of purchase they did say that I will receive my card only after they send enough shipments to their mother company. This is repurposing of my funds if that's the case. And I believe constitutes a fraud.

much as i don’t want to defend OC ( I’m struggling with their terrible service as much as anyone else ) i would say this is fairly common practice. Just because they have an item and you’ve placed an order i don’t believe they are under any legal obligation to sell it to you. They may be more interested in protecting the name and reputation of their parent company over a UK subsidiary, so Caseking gets the first pick of the letter.

of course this is probably all just garbage and conspiracy theory and they may just not have got them, like they said. They are so terrible and keeping people informed that nobody believes what they say anymore anyway.

It won't be they're obligated to, but the thing that should mean they have to send out all cards they get, is that rather than taking a deposit for said cards they have taken full price from anyone who has ordered one, which by laws in this country they have to send out the product within 30 days of the order being placed, as far as i'm aware anyways. that is where they ****** up, if they had only taken a deposit they would be perfectly fine to do that and not send out cards out of obligation if they wanted to stock store shelves. however it's a different story with what they've done.

but they changed their website to say it was a “pre-order” to get round those types of arguments. When we ordered ours it 100% said available for delivery on Friday though. Sadly, no screen shots to prove it because we weren’t expecting this mess.

In an amusing update to "why are the Trios being sent in a weird order", the answer is blame IT. They printed the list last to first of the batch that should ship today, so those near the front of the list will be put on the lorry last (though, you'll still get there, so stop worrying).

EDIT: Apparently it is literally just the "release" button that takes the list that should ship, incorrectly sorts it, then sends it to the warehouse. Having no effect but stressing out those at the front of the queue as later people get their emails first.

You are right on that and under consumer law they have also violated it via poor communication and I suppose you can also argue they are misselling to new buyers as it's still listed as a pre-order when it should be back order and no mention of queue times etc effectively holding your money hostage till you get your product either here or else where or lose interest.

Yep, same issue with mine unfortuntaley, this company has been good to me for many years with orders i have done. however with this utter ******** i will not be ordering from here again after this. basically seeming that we have to wait until germany gets their fill of cards before we are going to see much traction over here....

but you’ve always had your right to cancel for a full refund. I’m genuinely not try to defend this utter mess and how they have handled it, but in this case we have no leg to stand on. Wait or cancel and get your money back.
