RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

Wait a moment, the ones bundled with Mobos, are they actually physically in stock?
Or is it a case of they willl send it as and when they get it, just the same as if you ordered the cpu by itself?
The CPU listing it self is sold out as are some of the bundles so I would assume the ones showing as in-stock are in stock

Just had a certain scam company decide to tell me my orders been pushed back to (ETA: Mon 30th Nov) , nice of them to take 10 hours to mention how badly they screwed over my chances of getting a cpu, bought a 5800x at 14:09  only resorted to them as ocuk was unresponsive to say the least.

Same. Ordered a 5600x, order time of 2:04 and at ETA of 30th November. Given every site crashed yet again, I couldn't have been any quicker. How could somebody order any quicker when checkout didn't work. Baffled. AMD didn't learn from Nvidias mistakes.

I don't really get why folk are so worked up about availability on launch day. If you have a years old system already, keeping it for another few weeks isn't a big deal and for those with new build systems just waiting for a CPU, just pick up a 3000 series chip (used or new), good availability, plenty fast 'enough' for a few weeks. Moving it on 2nd hand in a few weeks/months will only lose a few tens of pounds, maybe less if you buy used in the first place.

I can't see why Zen 3 chips specifically are such a time sensitive purchase?

I assume most people have all the other bits they need ready, who wants to sit around waiting weeks to finally put their new builds together?

Nothing unusual about making plans and wanting them to proceed.

This is my first build and have all the parts ready to go, just needed a Zen 3 today. Now all my parts will be out of the return period by the time I get it so if any are DOA then its big RIP to my bank account. Ordered 4 mins after launch, guess I wasn't quick enough to get one of the 5 items available

Yeah I'm not in too much of a rush to upgrade on launch day, I was planning on swapping out my 3700x for a 5900x and using my 3700x in another PC in the house, with the plan of keeping the 5900x for a good few years untill DDR5 systems are out and a lot more affordable. Lucky I'm GPU limited at 1440p 144hz by my vega64 so I probably wouldn't notice the CPU upgrade untill I get a 6800XT anyway.
That said I'd be pretty annoyed if I had a setup waiting for just the CPU and couldn't finish the build.

The 6800xt is where the real struggle will be.

Similar for me too, finished checkout at 14.05’ and was notified of “awaiting picking” later in the afternoon with an delivery date of 6/11. Only to receive an email at 00.45’ to notify me of my “preorder” !!!! Wtf ?

Maybe they think they are safe from angry customers informing them at night and hiding behind lockdown... Heavily considering the bundle site but includes more work of having to sell a motherboard after as my case is itx. Do we have any ideas of when ocuk next get stock ?

This is true, I'm not going to try and get one on launch day, because it's going to be under water I'd rather wait and see who makes the best blocks and which cards are compatible etc. Hoping for a liquid devil variant or similar not too long after launch.

In case it's useful info for anyone here I got my order dispatched yesterday. Order time 14:14. Payment cleared 15:06. It's 5900x

Mine shipped from the same place at 8:46pm so hopefully yours will too ! Says I'm on track for delivery tomorrow.

I got mine from that same company. 14:11 I got my confirmation email. 20th of November too. I assume that's worst case for you guys who are 5 or so minutes before me. Probably will get yours before the 20th.

5900? I saw people talking about their 5950 being 30th.
Unfortunately only a 5800x the sad part was there was plenty of stock around still when i finished my order but honestly thought securing an order whilst it still showed stock for a good amount of time after would result in an actual product beign delivered in exchange for taking my money. We really do get done over in this industry, i think its the only one where you spend so much and have to fight so much to get what you pay for.

I've been sitting on a pre order for a 3080 from ocuk that's moved about 20 places since 17th September. That's also including a bunch of cancellations. I chose to order my CPU from the other company and not ocuk because of the way theyve given and presented daily updates for 3080's. I'm full of regret for not ordering from them.
