I have just done the same thing! I will use the bundled RAM but sell the cooler and motherboard along with my 3950x. The only thing I am thinking though is, do they actually put this together for you? Looking at the description it says it does, also on the invoice it lists the 5950x as OEM Tray.

I would rather have had all retail parts as I would need the packaging to be able to sell on the motherboard and cooler etc.

Yep did not read that, but hope they just send it out as separate parts, will soon know I guess

Really it's not the end of the world for me to wait til the end of the month+, but it's just unprofessional to chuck out a timestamp and pretend it never happened when it's actually preceeded by several hours. My last build was done purely with overclockers and I was really pleased with them overall. I'll suck it up but it's pretty ****** that anyone's giving them a blank cheque.

So I was after a 5950x as the final component to complete my new system build. Managed to get an order in with both Bolton at 2:10pm now with a delivery date of 30th! and OCUK at 2:18pm with who knows what delivery. So took the advice of someone on here to look for a mobo combo (10 mins ago) and got a 5950x from Bolton (delivered tomorrow) for a £500 premium on the cost of just the processor but will use the MB, Mem and Cooler to build a new PC for my daughter. Will probably keep the OCUK processor on order for that. SO thats one option if people need other parts

Does your order email say the 30th Nov? I placed mine at 2:09 but it was in the basket at 2:00 on the dot. My email says 10 - 12th nov estimated

I was going of my PayPal invoice which was 2:08pm. The email I got last night said expected delivery Mon 30th.

Half the people on this forum are as bad as the idiots who bulk bought toilet roll during lockdown 1.

I had two orders processing for my 5800x on on OC and one on a cheaper site. The cheaper site processed first so at the final check out screen i STOPPED the OC order as I did not NEED IT, neither did my spoilt son(as most of you seem to use an excuse to buy a second £500+ product).

Yes I could have made money on the other CPU like a lot of you will probably try to do but it's just not needed. If you have the money to throw at stuff like this then keep it and allow others to get some happiness at buying a new product without the hassle that is now common practice in our greedy country.

If your kids (excuse's) don't specifically need or ask for something DONT buy them it, they will turn out to be scummy people with no regards for others or wealth..

this happened to me from sc in basket @2pm paid by paypal (money in my pay account) order confirmation said 2:08pm . They obviously don't have a decent stock system.
There should be 15 minutes to allow you to purchase once you have it in your basket. And when its in your basket the stock levels should have dropped by 1 temporarily.

Anything other that that process is them basically guessing, which basically means its was a pre-order. Totally misled. I'm Raging!

Just going by an educated guess but I think most of the stock is getting swept up by bot users who have no stake in the community (speaking as a new account lol) It was a huge scourge with the NVIDIA launch too but the stock was even worse in that case, speaking as someone who expects to be on the step-up program for several months.

Had the confirmation email at 2:07, and I just called now to check and was told I dont have one and I'm on pre order... no way did this company have stock I'm sorry no way 780 quid 1 minute before offical launch and I'm on pre order...hmm. annoyed it feels like my 3080 again...still waiting since 17th sept for that. First pc build and its turning into a nightmare.

Bolton aren’t all sunshine and roses. I asked for Saturday delivery as I needed to take my other half to an important hospital appointment, and it’s coming today and I’m unable to change it. Happens quite a lot with them.

Christ Almighty, what a debasing spectacle its been to witness the sheer level of child like tantrums being thrown over things as inconsequential as CPU's & GPU's in the last 2mths.

If not getting a shiny new toy on day one is all you have to worry about right now, you should be dropping to your knees in gratitude, not crying about it.

There is a difference between day one and a month and a half later + an indefinite amount of time there after, then to have it happen all over again for a cpu, it is annoying, because the same things happening again, it's not the end of the world but people are allowed to vent their frustrations aren't they?

Come on mate, that's not a very nice thing to say. Not all of us are idiots. I've got a load of GCSE's, about 4 or 5, so I'm pretty clever. Also my partner says I'm clever - but I have to ask. She doesn't come out and just say that I'm clever.

I can't speak for everyone on here though.

I got email confirmation on the 5950X at 2:09pm and just checked tracking, which says my dispatch date is between 6th - 9th Nov. I haven't received any email to say its been delayed until 30th, and calling them is impossible lol
