The streaming is still laggy on the new consoles, and a bit blurry even on maximum detail. I'm glad I got an S for the office to go along with the X in the living room.

I'm curious to see what its like. Picking up an S when they are available again may not be a terrible idea actually.

I asked the question earlier about Dolby Atmos, it's free for speaker usage. £14 for headset.

Correct. I've bought the headset version. Curious to see how it performs on games that fully support Atmos.

I need a longer HDMI cable for 4k 120Hz HDR. Literally a tight rope using the supplied one and the one going through the wall isn't good enough.

They aren't too expensive. I needed a 4m cable.

yeh, mine is setting next to my router so its connected via lan for the best stability/speed.

The IQ is better on my S on a 1440p screen than streaming from an X to the same screen.

For latency I guess it depends on how sensitive you are to it. All my devices (Series X and PC) are connected directly to my router and the input latency is annoying for FPS and platform games for me. For other games it's probably fine.

I did for years then I was getting loads of rubber banding in multiplayer so I wired it. Much better and hugely improved download speeds as well.

I really can't understand all the angst from deliveries, not deliveries and lost / stolen parcels.

It's the same situation and lesson everytime a new console or game comes out ::::::: if you want it guaranteed launch day pre order from game & smyths in store.

Works for me everytime and had no issues today.

None in stock. But I’ve managed to nab one and just received my order confirmation from Game. Just grates a bit that I have to pay an extra £10 for delivery but hey ho I can’t complain as I have one ordered now and that’s all that matters lol.
