*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Hi. First post so please be gentle with me. I pre-ordered a Palit 3080 Oc on saturday. I'm obviously aware of the unprecedented demand but I was wondering... how do I find out what number I have in the pre-order queue? I've had a order confirmation email but nothing else.

You'll get an email on Friday evening with your queue position // or when the next bulk of Palit 3080 OCs start moving.

Hi all, apologies for the slow responses, I've been on paternity leave so trying to sort a different type of launch. I'm trying to work through the backlog of posts and answer anything specific. Regarding stocks and especially the 3080's we do have more on the way and some good quantities, but still not enough to clear all the backorders I'm afraid. Please know we're doing all we can and looking into everything we can do to get your card to you all sooner.

hi mate, in your vague beermat estimate, what sort of timeframe would you guess before ASUS can supply OCUK with 200-odd Non-OC TUFs?

If these inno3d cards don't come this week im probably gonna order an amd card from Madeline Mccann cos this is taking the utter pizz I am 2nd place and have been top 10 for weeks man... might just hold my 2080ti if amds launch is as bad.

I have a Palit coming from a competitor tomorrow (ordered yesterday evening). I guess I can cancel my OCUK orders and another one from a competitor.

If I knew in hindsight how 'easy' it is to get notifications telling me when they're available, I would have lower stress from waiting here looking for updates on stock.

Okay that's me gone! I'll see you all at the next series of cards.

I ordered last week just before OCUK stopped taking anymore orders. I went for the Asus Strix OC hoping that as its is one of the more expensive cards the line might be short(er). No such luck, I'm 1270th in line. What surprised me is that 1270 x £900 is over £1.1 million in back ordered cards, and that is just one card, isnt there like 15 different 3080's? OCUK must have tens of millions in 3080 back orders alone. Just for comparison I'm just over 1000 in line for an AMD 5900X.

Bro it’s insane how much of our hard earned lolly OC are sitting on.
If they got into any financial difficulties now we’d all be up the creek without a paddle.
Hope thier VAT returns are in good order!

Congratulations!
You placed you pre-order about 9 months ago. First in the queue but still had to show great patience for the delivery.

I have to warn you, that the warranty sucks on those things. You can't send it back if it doesn't perform, and the manufacturer definitely won't accept it back into the factory.

It's one of the only products, though, which improves over time.
Great! :p lmao!

Seems that Inno have been flooding the Chinese crypto market with photos of mining rigs with 8 x iChill cards in them! Everyone else's lauch is just as bad including Xbox and Playstation, and AMD is likely to also fall foul of this manufacturing capacity shortfall.

hope launch went great! :p Good to hear more on the way, many thanks.

OK, ordered a full PC build from another site. Can't decide whether to cancel my TUF no-see card order from here. 170 in the queue and ordered at MSRP.

Congratulations! Hope all is well with the new arrival. Can you give any details (even in vague terms) regarding when we can expect more stock in? I'm specifically after the 3080 Strix Non-OC but would be great if you can give a quick one liner regards each of the Strix & TUF skus. I understand the 3000 series launch has been a rough one for all involved, but the real point of failure here for both Nvidia, AIB's and OCUK has been a lack of managing customer expectations. Something that you all take a share in blame for.

Hi all, thanks for understand and your kind words! I'll try to cover everything below as I've had loads of questions come through at once. Sorry if this is not good formatting but just means I didn't miss anything hopefully.

Hi, how many gpu's for each model can we reasonably expect to see in say the next two weeks? I'm at position 139 for a TUF OC currently.
I would like to say yes, but we provide the cards and forecasts to OCUK and they would need to confirm.

second any ideas on rough numbers and dates? / are you able to provide any numbers of specific cards heading here?
We are bringing in hundreds in every GPU segment every week, but backorders are large so its tough to confirm dates. We are giving dealers notice on incoming shipments to let them plan ahead and be aware before stock lands.

I think one of the questions we would like answered is what exactly is the cause of the low production quantities?
As Nvidia has stated the demand has been much higher than anticipated. Nvidia and ASUS want to fulfill orders as soon as possible so are working hard to resolve.

I think the answers most people are looking for are timescales, as in what are they? Some more on the way could be a vague as they're leaving the manufacturing plant and still be weeks/months away from the reseller.
We're bringing in hundreds of cards and working to give notice, and stock is landing every week now on almost every GPU.

Polite request but could you please check @Gibbo definition on sizes of deliveries in his thread and work to those by any chance. It appears that you stated that a "very large" delivery was received into OC last week yet they only shipped 35 cards to customers in that queue and that is causing more questions/frustrations than answers...As always your help is appreciated!!! Very large is 100+ by his estimation 35 is "ok" by his estimation.
Thank you and agreed, sorry still catching up.

If possible to get dates and figures for these incoming cards you'll likely save a lot of posts being generated and headache for those waiting as well as yourself!
Because I'm unable to comment on backorders and fulfillment through the supply chain, I could actually get this wrong. And my biggest concern would be setting your expectations and getting it wrong. So I'd rather OCUK provide the information, but I'll check with Gibbo around this.

I am only around 58th in the queue. I assume the next shipment (which will be the first one since launch) will be big enough so I get my card? Is there any indication when the shipment will be, in November?
Finally please clarify the current RMA arrangement ASUS has with OcUK in as much detail as you can. Thank you.

I'd be optimistic this will be fulfilled soon, but at the moment OCUK will confirm with you.

Around the warranty we offer 3 years, and the procedure and terms are set by OCUK, so I'd refer to them for guidance.

in your vague beermat estimate, what sort of timeframe would you guess before ASUS can supply OCUK with 200-odd Non-OC TUFs?
I'll try to get more feedback on this specific card as orders are high, we are talking weeks but I'll try and get a better update.
