im in north Scotland, shops are open here atm.
UPS driver at work today was saying a lorry got robbed full of Xbox and driver etc tied up and put in the back probably why some didn't get a delivery.
Although looking online I dont see a news article so probably made up rubbish.

An entire trailer was stolen recently that was full of Apple products, where this had happened to the driver. They unhitched it from his truck, stuck it on theirs and buggered off.

from what I have heard, it’s around April time for stock to be available. But that’s just one company..

That would be very unlikely. Microsoft will be doing all they can to keep momentum going.
Hasn't been delivered. Just received an email to say date on account is wrong and it'll be the date on the first confirmation email which is before the 18th of December.

April is when they expect to meet demand. EG wake up and you can go online and order without have to play a lottery.

Source for what?? Microsoft has said that stock will be hard to get hold of due to demand and supply. Said something along the lines that early next year they should have more stock available in stores and online.
Again it’s just a lottery at the moment trying to get one this side of xmas. All you can do is just keep checking websites of online retailers to see when they have stock but got to be quick.
I didn’t realise dec 18th is a ways off lol, still have a month to go before I should get mines. I’m kinda hoping that I’ll get it sooner as Game have said latest by the 18th I should have one.

It doesn’t make a great deal of sense given the similarities between the hardware. If they were two different architectures I could understand but essentially the same CPU and GPU architecture AND more powerful and still a more inconsistent experience...hmmm
Makes me think something is going on software side. It’s clearly not because of any limitation on the hardware.
+1 hoping I don't regret the XSX + Game Pass route. Purchased it mainly for the multi-platform titles.
My XSX shut down randomly whilst playing AC Valhalla earlier. Not sure why, jumped into a pond and everything froze then it switched off.
