Shocking no news this week about the EVGA cards that Gibbo said was coming in. I get that its a busy time and all that but come on man it took 8 weeks to get any info at all for EVGA.

There's an Australian online retailer being honest about delivery times, even in so far as stating that the ASUS Strix 3080 cards won't even be available until early 2021, the best we're getting is silence from OC and the ASUS rep saying "soon (tm)" just to keep ya all thinking that there's hope and you won't cancel your orders.

There were stock alerts in the US for them today. No idea on numbers though

I'm starting to think that my sub 40 queue place won't see any joy until Feb - I was quietly optimistic about a Nov delivery last month but Asus have come out with their marketing nonsense then completely dried up

Hasn't been a 3080fe drop for 2 weeks in the UK now (This is the 3080 thread some 3090's did drop couple of days ago), and the only AIB's are the god awful Palit, PNY and Zotacs all with terrible PCB and coolers looking at teardown videos wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Nothing wrong with Palits, considering they make and sell more GPU's of various types than the rest put together.

yeah i got the eagle for £650... when i say got i mean paid for an hour after release and im still waiting lol

i was considering cancelling and going elsewhere or getting one from a scalper, just cant justify spending over £100 more just to get it sooner. at the end of the day we have paid for our cards and will get them. as **** as it is, its what im going to do.

Thats my exact thoughts. Id rather wait it out with my 2070 super than pay someone like £200ish more than they paid for it. No way am I letting them think they're fine to do that.

I can agree, my 3080 will be my 4th Palit card and I have yet to have a bad experience. Dont know why some people see them as a bad brand.

Although hang on... I thought queue update emails were sent whenever your particular card had units shipped? (As well as to all pre-orders on Friday afternoons.)

So if Aorus Master units have shipped (presumably yesterday?), where was my update email? Or are they no longer bothering?

3080 has never appeared in any volume anywhere else to be fair it’s not just OC. 3070 is pretty easy to get but you are paying the same as the 3080 msrp. Don’t think those msrp prices are ever coming back.

Elsewhere may not be getting massive volume but it is a massive improvement on the pitiful dregs that OC are managing to get, I think they have messed up big time with suppliers/distributors.

OK guys local distributor is saying they will get their first small batch of stock next week from EVGA but they are saying the numbers are extremely small, should have numbers next week.

He then said this week that XC3 and FTW3 Ultras would be arriving in a small amount, this week. We've not had any update actually confirming the volume - or even if they've arrived this week...

Just use the Customer Service part of the Forum, Use the Order Queries I think it is, Create a post using your OC#### order number and request Cancellation.
I did this a week or two ago for a Monitor that was not coming into stock until end of month, (got it next day for cheaper else where) and I got cancellation and funds back in PayPal the next day.

Sorry but I should have been clearer, I didn't have a pre-order here at all. I found my card at another site that was mentioned the day of the 6000 "release"

I phoned OC pretending i was a new customer. They told me palit and pny deliveries have been rare and the fastset queue is zotac with 50 coming in regularly every week for past few weeks. If i was to purchase one i would get it in around 2 weeks as current queue is 57.

Well im not new im old and im position 25. So pleassse zotac lets gooooo come onnnnnn

They were obviously telling porkies, wanting you to go Zotac for the extra money.

I wish Gibbo or @ASUS GPU Support would give us something on the status of the 3080 Strix OC. There has been nothing for weeks now. The ASUS Rep has stated they've given a schedule weeks in advances. I'm aware things can change and be delayed especially with the current global situation and it coming towards a busy festive period of shipping but small batches were coming in weekly and now nothing. Nothing coming in and no updates. This is in stark contrast to "things will improve in November".

It also doesn't justify why ASUS are sending far more cards to certain EU Suppliers and being called out by OC for doing so. If OC has the info then share it, if it changes or is delayed then just update and if its with distro then pressure them as you've had confirmation from the AIB that they have this info.

I have an rx580 8gb, it’s fine for now I’m not complaining. 60fps high settings on a 60hz 1080p monitor... it won’t be enough for the the two 32inch 1440p 144hz monitors on the way though lol

RTX 2070 is still a cracking good card, hope you get the card you want when you order.

LOL, I think we may have done it for the same product. I ended up cancelling over Discord in about a minute, was pleasantly surprised with it.
