I wish i never sold my 2070 card. The day i purchased 3080 i put it on sale on ebay thinking it will only be 2 week wait as they had eta on there.

so sorry 2070 im sooo sorry...the 3080 was better looking then you but she never turned up..i wish i never let you go

Told me the same thing I am 47 in the queue
 
So after 2 months waiting (at no 4 in the queue) having my card sent to someone else not in the queue when 4 cards where received, then being given a £20 discount and assurance my card would be sent the following week , with nothing recieved 2 weeks later, and no eta on the card being delivered (gibbo provided no info and manager cannot now offer any projection on when a card will be delivered) i have cancled my order.
Been an oc customer for over 10 years , spent thousands of pounds with you , and have never had such an appalling experience. Props to the forum mods and the good people on discord who have been nothing but helpful. But gibbo and how this has release and my case in particular was handled is simply terrible, afraid I won't be using you again and will also be closing my business account. Best of luck to you all.

Yeah I saw that Amazon had some problems with the Trinity and I wanted to go Zotac out of the last few that are left so I just thought the extra £20 to avoid possible hassle will make my life easier but isn't looking promising at the minute
 
This was my Q about the 3080 stock, I am at Q position 70 for a Gigabyte 3080 gaming OC ----- (Gigabyte gaming OC) and their response,

Based upon the above and your Q position it's unlikely you'll get one this side of Christmas now sorry - if you want to cancel please let us know.

  1. Hello, Last email I got was last Friday and I am in Q position 70, Gibbo has posted saying that the last is below and I wonder if I'm getting it this year as he states this is the last shipment?? should I just cancel as it looks like I am not getting it.

I've cancelled my pre-order for the Gigabyte 3080 Gaming OC. I was position 30 I think.

I cancelled yesterday via the form. Not heard anything yet.

I managed to get an MSI 3080 Gaming X Trio elsewhere. I even had a 3090 on pre order with Amazon but then I came to my senses and cancelled that.

I agree too, I honestly think they have shifted focus to being ready to produce the next cards to be released in Q1, I think you will see continued drips of Ampere and the large volumes promised for November/December aren't going to happen. Nvidia even announced they wont have volume ramped until later Q1 2021, which lines up with the Ti's being pushed I don't believe in coincidences!

While AMD are now competitive, It would seem Nvidia has breathed a small sigh of relief.
