The Radeon RX 6800 (XT) Owners Thread.

So I just installed my new 6800, PC turned on fine installed drivers ran fine for 10 mins then Green Screen now i’m getting no signal at all. Any ideas. Tried Hdmi and DP cables.

Try using DDU to totally remove the old drivers and then install the latest beta driver.

Got a red GPU led on my Tomahawk max too.

Try another pcie 16x if you have one, and if then no joy try it in a another system if that's an option.

Not connected to the Internet just yet waiting on a longer Ethernet cable, will give DDU a go once it arrives then try beta drivers.

thought it might have been my power supply as its getting on a bit , but just installed a second 780 gtx and it rus ok.

To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your Radeon RX 6800 (XT).

Well the drivers are a very important part to get everything running perfectly. And if you didn't clean the Nvidia drivers from the system before the 6800 then it's a possibility something is conflicting. Also the drivers that come with the card can be buggy since they are old.

Right, pretty annoyed at OCUK now:( got the 6800 and all is fine dandy and I've just started testing and playing, BUT where are my haribos!:)

Just a side note here, I've been test running it on a Be Quiet 500w 80+ bronze psu with just the one pci-e cable connected with the two connectors. I've tried it at stock and under volted (no real discernable difference that I can see) but power draw is down by about 30w minimum and pulls around 180-200w, leastways thats what gpu-z is telling me. Been running for about about 1.5 hours and had no probs at all though its a clean/recent windows 10 instal.
One thing that I have noticed though is the weight, its really heavy but doesn't sag at all in the test bench.

Good feedback, hopeful my 650W Plat will run a 6800 XT without issue, and maybe in the future a 6900 XT. :)

Official spec says 750W for the 6800 XT.

Always room for a pussy shot!!! :)

LMAO, Always loves to nose around new Items/boxes
Well, I am over the moon with the card, First time I seen an AMD Ref Card with 0DB fan stop,
had some trouble with the case & riser cable, at to set the bios manually
to 3.0 PCI-E before swapping out 2070 super. No way I paying out £45 & up for a 4.0 riser
