Days gone is glorious on the 5, smooth as butter. This is the first time I’ve played it and I’m impressed.

Turn on the PS5 just now and it starts to download updates for War Thunder, Miles Morales, and Prime video...

I have both the 'stay connected to internet' under power save turned on, and both the auto download and auto install under automatic updates.

Weirdest forum member period. It's funny seeing responses because I can imagine the drivel being spewed.
Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't even have one and just role plays the whole thing.
 
Yeah I already have a Ps5 but did the glitch for one of my mates who didn’t manage to get one (his glitch was cancelled).
I ordered around 8am but no dispatch but my other friend ordered around 6 and DPD have text to saying being delivered tomorrow.

Least it seems like some stock is finally moving out and those waiting for one will finally get one!

Can you do a factory reset and start from scratch now they've released a few patches?

I'm still surprised MS and Sony even managed to get these things out given the pandemic. I've not had many consoles on launch day, but not surprising they have some bugs. Don't recall the Switch having many issues but that was a pretty barebones OS (and still is :D).

I've had a couple of crashes on my Series X and same on the PS5 but thankfully nothing major.
 
Think I got my first bug. Trying to download youtube app and it's just stuck on calculating remaining time. I just downloaded a game update fine.

Edit. Not a bug internet has dropped to 700kbs download lol.
 
I have had my ps5 for a week now and love it. I have not had any issues. I have played astro bots, Spider-Man remastered and mostly sackboy. I found out how to view clips of how you got an achievement by chance. It’s in your media library.
I’m enjoying the controller. I was going to cancel my order for the ps5 as I already got series x but glad I kept it.

my series x did a hard reboot once. I tried to load forza horizon and console turned it self off then come back on. Playing Spider-Man in 60hz is brilliant

I've had it easy on both consoles. Black ops occasionally locks and resets the Xbox but its a known issue.

I've noticed the disc drive is quite noisy on the PS5 when reading MW, more so than Spiderman or Mortal Kombat. Wonder if its anything to do with it being a PS4 game

Interesting you mention that. When I installed days gone off the disc it was really loud and I found putting pressure on the side panels stopped the bad vibration noise. However when I installed demons souls it wasn't as loud. No idea what the difference is.

I've noticed that with mine but I don't have any ps4 discs.

These side panels seem to just amplify any drive noise which is nice..

I managed to order one from very on launch day, got a dispatch email this morning. Says next few days and the tracking is yodel, so its anyone's guess.
