Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [27th - 30th Nov 2020]

Luiz should not be carrying on with a clash of heads like that, go for a scan and get someone else on. Even if he doesn't keel over before half-time he's not going to be concentrating properly after that.

You also can’t tell when Luiz is concussed because he does weird things at the best of times....

Not sure how we can play so defensively and they still have space all over the pitch. On top of that we barely create anything. All the hopes I had after the promising signs Arteta showed last season are dwindling away. So boring to watch too.

Got to wonder what the head injury protocols are in football, Luiz looked spaced out for most of the first half and shouldn't have been allowed to continue.

Edit: Yellow for that?

Agree with a post on the bbc from Chris Sutton (of all peoples!) twitter, there should be the option for temporary concussion subs so the player can be properly assessed. They do it in Rugby should do the same in football.

We don't take people on or move the ball fast enough. So pedestrian all the time and very easy to defend against.
It reminds me a lot of how Everton or Spurs looked a few years back. Fast players with some occasional magic in them, but not enough guile in midfield to make the most of it. It's like when teams end up chasing a game by bringing off a midfielder to put on a striker, then realising that there's nobody left on the pitch who can get the ball up to their forwards

Well his dads suffering form dementia so he talks about it a lot.

Arsenal need someone with some vision which who can put their foot on the ball and create. If only they had someone like that...

I can see them looking at Erikssen in Jan.
