Just realised I likely wouldn't have got one anyway because I've been refreshing the original announcement thread from monday where nothing has been said.
It's dumb luck. I've missed every other drop so far, due to work, but today I was home and looking at the forums at just the right time.
Damn! I've been waiting for it the whole day, then I went out for few minutes to grab quick groceries and missed it...

Probably to filter out scalpers, good tactic tbh. Gets the cards into the hands of the people who actually need them.
Exactly this. Probably won't stop all of them, but even a small victory is a victory.
