Easy garden watering solutions

Evening all,

I am sick and tired of watering my garden every evening in the summer, so I'm trying to find an easy solution for the lazy gardener.

I've tried soaker hoses and I've tried the kits you can buy online that clip together using awful fittings - both of which are (obviously) useless!

I have 4 waterbutts and a Titan clean/dirty water pump that I'd like to utilise if possible.

Do you have any time waving ways to water the garden?

Sprinklers fed direct from your hose or water butt.....

Popup sprinklers. Going to need some work laying the pipes though.

Than use ground level sprinklers........and attach and detach the hose when not needed. It’s what I do

I am concerned the pump wont have enough pressure for a sprinkler, even though is supposedly able to deliver 2 bar of pressure.... (it definitely doesnt)

Why do you need a pump??? Connect house to outside tap and then to a sprinkler, leave run for however long. Switch off and enjoy the rest of the evening

get a drip irrigation system that uses gravity, connect it to your water butts

But you don’t want to water the garden yourself....so I’m giving you other options.

that would mean getting rid of the water butts and using mains water with hoses and sprinklers

The waterbutts will run dry in summer and you'll be back to mains water.
