*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I understand Asus 3090 tuf non OC isn't a popular version. Sitting at 25 for 2 weeks. But hanging in there. Cmon ASUS. Also waiting on a couple bought to order pieces , psu and distribution plate. But heh ho.... one day....

Hey guys, appreciate none of this is your fault Nvidia dropped one hell of a ball on this one. At the moment i'm like 460 in queue for 3080 Strix OC, it's barely dropped by 100 in 2 and a half months and i know most of that is probably from people cancelling and not from stock coming in. I really dont want to have to wait 6 months for a graphics card, just wondering as you seem to be getting every other card and not the Strix OC, is there any sense in going for another model at this stage queue wise? Not looking for a prediction of Strix future stock, moreso if there is a particular model that has a much more sensible queue and stock situation. Cheers

Arriving at OcUK warehouse next day or two, then will take 3-5 days to book items into stock and then 2-3 days before we ship out, but as follows:
3080 TUF x19
3080 TUF OC x20
I'm curious, does this mean that the cards come in but just sit there for 3 to 5 days and then are designated "in stock" then get processed and dispatched?
It seems an arbitrary wait if that's the case.

I've been looking for some specifics for that shipment but couldn't find the original post, thanks. Although I'm 65th for the non OC, so not quite what I was hoping...

I'm hoping to buy the Inno3D RTX3080 X2 because that's the only 3080 you stock that will fit in my case. They keep showing 'coming soon'. Are they in fact coming soon or is that just a placeholder? Also why can't I pre-order?

Thats got to be a micky take regarding the 3080 ventus cards. Theres been 1 delivery that either never turned up with no word or dropped from an ok to small. Now there's looking to only be a small amount before Christmas? Wtf are they playing at? Also worth noting i am seeing them elsewhere so how can they not be secured here?

Probably because of MSRP...I got it at MSRP 1 hour after launch when most I was speaking to the price had gone up.

If this was the case I wish they would own up and just say pay extra ££ and we can get them in.

For instance there competitors got ventus shipped last week OC got 0.

There goes another update without any mention of 3080 Strix OC, I was really hoping for one since I'm barely moving down the queue...
I'm moving back home for Christmas, does anyone know if I can change the delivery address of my order?

This was just covered in this same thread. You cannot change a delivery address. You can probably change the order to request in-store pickup rather than delivery. If you have access to Transport.

It:s a placeholder. Other etailers either say this, or 'out of stock'. "Soon" is relative, and has no real meaning without a point of reference. Real meaning: Coming but we don't know when, could be days, weeks or months.

We're getting 10. 10 in 2 months...

@Gibbo Whats going to be happening with the 3080 Suprim's, i dont see these listed on the website? Any chance of these being offered as upgrades to people already in the queue?

Thanks, I might have to do that if they don't give us any news about the strix this week

It is busiest time of year with 100's of deliveries arriving each day potentially and the booking in team can only do so much each day, GPU's are a priority but at same time when deliveries land they are not always clear as to what they are and the booking in team could be busy booking in a container of cases, monitors or a several thousand pieces of memory, unfortunately, they cannot just drop everything and they are human.

That's not really the issue, the issue is that the volumes of what's coming in is the wrong order of magnitude to fulfil the backlog in a reasonable timeframe.
There are many people that will simply cancel and do something else with the money entirely.

In two weeks ..
"3080 TUF x19
3080 TUF OC x20"

I am in queue position 576.
10 cards per week, that's 57 weeks.

At this rate, I will get my Asus 3080 TUF OC in January 2022.

I appreciate the difficult situation that OCUK and other retailers have found themselves in and there is no one else to blame for that other than the manufacturers. However, the quality of communication that we have got from OCUK has been simply pathetic. A company that is known for charging a premium to shop with among the competitors the customer service aspect has been in no other ways rubbish for an element they own and control.

The ASUS Strix 3080 OC has been horrendously slow moving. 2 Places per week if any. I've done the calculation and based on the current rate, wont have it if it continues to June... What would be nice is the quality of the communication we get. Another competitor of OCUK has a very easy to look table that says when they expect deliveries for certain cards. Why can't we have this, rather than a once per X amount of days update about specific cards.

The last Strix 3080 OC update was 26th Oct where it was due later that week, but there was zero updates past that point that they arrived. 6 Weeks for an update. That's honestly some poor communication. I appreciate this is some first world complaints we have, but in a world where we are restricted on what we can do at present its not great.

I believe that depends on the payment method. Some do require us to deliver goods above a specified price to the invoice address otherwise we are not covered against fraud.

No news from Inno, Zotac, KFA, Asus, EVGA.....
We have been promised an update on pre-xmas supply from Asus soon.

I understand the reasons but as things change its out of my control and I'll have to cancel if it doesn't come before Christmas unfortunately.

Though I do wonder, why can't the invoice address be updated seeing as nothing has shipped yet or even looks likely to.
