Be sure to send a webnote about COD:CW promotion if they did not send you a copy. Sent one and got my code, but still need to chase GF Now code.

I will happily wait for the 40XX series. 70% performance increase and a huuge amount of cuda cores. My 1080 Ti is still playing Valhalla, RDR2 at great FPS 1440P resolution.

So i don't mind waiting.

You can always wait for the nextbigthingomg, but so far 40xx cards are nothing but a rumor, no data on pricing, amd position etc. Buy when you have an actual need and then look around for the best deal. I bought the 3080 because it could reasonably hit the goals I have, which is 4K@90Hz (since I have a 4k VR headset running at 90Hz..)

2080->3080 was a very good step up price vs performance wise, maybe nvidia will continue the streak with 40xx but while it's sensible to wait if a card is juuust about to be release, but holding your breath when a new card was *just* released doesn't make sense to me

Check this out, cool 3080 flick....

Ordered a Zotac Amp Extreme from the biggest retailer in the world

Advertising the amp extreme they sent out a holo black

now afterwards i realised Zotac for what ever reason pulled back on the extreme models, even though many places were accepting pre-orders

Word is they are saving the badboy for the 3080ti line up

Anyways I leave a negative review on the product page saying Ive been scalped by them, charged me £961, and they sent me a lower end product, I complained 3 times.

then another person bought the same thing, and received the Holo too, also stated that they received the wrong card, he complained and he got £250 quid refunded, so he left a 5* review under my one, still there....

Im like its me who raised the issue and other customer get refunded based on my review, I call Amazon again and i get nowhere.

So I then email 2 executive offices, one being the owner, yes billionaire owner has published is email address for customers to email him.

I attach copies of my 2 lousy shares certificate I own, saying im a share holder and I got scalped paying 961 on somting thats 750 at most

I get 2 emails back from the executive office with an apology and confirming they have refunded me the full value back, im like whaaat, all i wanted was the rrp back

Checked this morning, all there and they have not asked for the product back, man thats a free 3080!

Thats a super solid next level real customer service flex there! believe that....:D
That's a win in my book. Congrats :D

I just got my Asus TUF 3080 non-oc, but wait, it says OC EDITION!?, are they upgrading people for free?

Anyway, thank you OcUK.

Hi there

It was a mistake by the distributor, they communicated our NONE OC allocation which we then communicated to the customers.

They shipped the stock and upon arrival at OcUK it was spotted they were OC cards and having spoke to the supplier we both agreed that as the customers were already promised and as NONE OC stock has being such small numbers there was no way these promised customers could be disappointed and as such both OcUK and supplier agreed to get them out to the customers as a free upgrade considering the cards had already been promised.

Thanks I'll get on that shortly. I've seen a few people shocked at the size of the 3080 and it's no doubt a big card. But I think my 1080 was just really big (Gainward "phoenix") there's basically no difference in size for me. :-)

I wasn't going to mention what the little surprise was, I thought I just got lucky, haha. Awesome! Thanks for not taking it as OC stock, fair is fair. You guys are awesome.

Thank you very much Gibbo. Just to clarify will it in any way impact if warrantyneeds to be claimed but our invoices do not say we purchased OC models?

Thanks, that is much appreciated, tbh I could have waited longer but my brother has been waiting months for my 2070 Super, he is beside himself today, can't wait to ship his card out to him.

very nice gesture! I'm sure all receiving will be very happy, a nice move on OCUK and distributors part. :p

Hey there, was just wondering if I could get any sort of estimated amount of time for when I could purchase/even order a Asus Rtx 3080 ROG Strix Gaming Oc. Been waiting for months to even try and order one but it's starting to seems as though the product page won't change from "This product is available soon!" any time soon.

You're in the same boat as me! I guess they're fulfilling back orders first, then might have some idea of ETA. Would be so much nicer to get some transparency on the stock situation tho, not just for OCUK but any seller :(. Gotta beat the scalper bots some how >.<

I just want to be able to at least order one for the peace of mind that I will have one coming my way at some point, yet I cant even do that ;-;.

Doest it mean we may get non oc then soon? As this was a mistake and OC was shipped instead? Maybe non oc was left over somewhere for us ;)

I don't see how they could be much more transparent, they post what they expect to receive every week, another large retailer also has a page on their website with outstanding and expected to receive, I think I OCUK has done a great job!

@Gibbo
ASUS RTX 3080 TUF OC
I'm still on queue 15 since 24/12, if the none-OC got upgrade to OC, what about us who paid the price for the OC? Is all 70 goes to the none-OC buyers? Are we gonna suffer more delay because of the mistake?
