TBH the 3070 if is not worth £100 over the 3060ti fe, 1000 on the memory and 100 on the core brings you 3070 performance. 3060ti at 369 is a true bargain.

I thought so. If I can get 200-250 for my GTX 1080 I will be happy. I don't game much at the moment although do have 1440p 165Hz GSYNC monitor which I hope the 3060Ti can unleash a little more.

Depends a bit what you are playing - CP2077 if you want to play with ultra settings + RT ultra w/ DLSS quality at 1440p the 3070 just scrapes in, even with overclocking (which doesn't gain much in the game) the 3060ti you will have to turn something down.

The drop I just missed out on and the drop I managed to buy on each time the URL was different when the next drop came along, etc. not sure if they've reused it at all for different drops though.
 
Since I’ve been prepping for a 3080, I now have some questions as I’ve now gone for the 3070...

I have a 650W PSU - Should be good for the 3070 right?

I don't think the 3070 link on Nvidia's site even went live (unless I missed it).
 
So given the time now, does this mean we are pretty much guaranteed not to see any stock of 3080 fe between now and tomorrow morning? Or could these be automated and end up popping up at like 3am in the morning?

I haven't been following the discord channels, etc. but not been aware of any FE stock outside of normal shop hours and mostly it has been between 1pm and 4pm though there was the odd drop outside that.

It did go live for abit the link and could click on it. But was slightly delayed it seems so card went for sale first with bot sites getting getting direct links, then Nvidia site link few mins after. Small gap between link on Nvidia site going up and running out as I imagine by then decent amount had been brought via direct links.
 
Has anyone kept track of all 30 series nvidia drop times?

It appears 2pm weekdays seems to be the main drop times.

Do nvidia do early hours drops? Not seen one yet myself though probably because 3am is my absolute stat up time limit
 
Bought a proper 12 pin cable from moddiy as the adapter that comes with the card looks like it is almost impossible to bend out of sight.
