Just doing some research into Motherboards.
From youtube tutorials i've learnt how to connect them, in my current mobo it's easy to find the power button connector etc. however the newer higher end mobos i've seen around the internet look different...

Here is what I mean.
Current mobo has these connectors...

Higher end mobo's don't ??

Any idea ?

Ya but where is it in the second pic ?

Think I found it, right at the bottom on the right ?

A good way to look at this for the future is the manual: https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/M7A38v8.1.pdf

If you ctrl+f for JFP1 it shows you exactly how to configure it.

I know most of the time looking at manuals for things is boring but for motherboards it's a treasure trove of info to learn from.

Literally everyone should..?
I am fairly experienced home equipment handler with 30+years behind my back and still had to find if my MB was disabling or just speed-limiting 2 of my SATA ports when plugging in third NVMe drive..

There was no such things as NVMe back in days, you know..
