Think you will find its 3 years on FE

Finally had a play around with the 3080 today. I’m impressed.

Solid quality card, quiet, cool and almost 100% up on on performance over my 1080Ti and cheaper too.

So glad I held out for an FE.

I wonder what the performance uplift will be from my Vega 56, I assume double the performance at least.

Undervolted mine tonight and even more impressed, 1800@850

I came from vega 56, it's well over double the perf., runs FAR quieter and cooler

Excellent. Thanks for posting. I think an Undervolt will be the first thing I do also.

Thanks both. Looks like 3 years

Three (3) years from the date of purchase of your new Warranted Product (the "Warranty Period").

please contact your local distributor/reseller, or if you purchased your product directly from NVIDIA please contact the NVIDIA Customer Care team.

Guess you just open a ticket / live chat or contact the place it originally came from with proof of purchase. Hopefully no issues but this is new to me as have been using EVGA member portal from coming on 10 years now, EVGA GTX480 being the first I think

I'll need to pick your brains with your recommended warzone settings when you are up and running!

Is that correct? 2080Ti comes in at 188.5 FPS. Maybe Heaven 4 likes more CPU cores as that is with a 5800X

Sure. I'll probably still use what I run now. 445.87 driver as the new ones are all dump
3440 x 1440, RTX and the other blue stuff turned off and Geforce Experience game filter

I'll share settings when i'm up and running next week. Yet to see how the 3080 plays out with the 445.87 driver

No idea tbh, but yeah probably quite a bit of a difference between a 2600 and 5800x :p

EDIT:

Also, I don't think a 3080 is that much better than a 2080ti???

IIRC about 40% IPC difference on the CPUs.

3080 is a good bit faster than the 2080ti - 2080ti and 3070 are roughly on par.

IIRC Heaven can be quite memory bandwidth sensitive but it has been awhile so I might be remembering wrong.

50%+ in some cases (pure RTX anyway) This is not going on my own experience but will see soon. Quake II RTX really hammers the GPU more than anything else (even CyberSpunk)
