There is an RTX feature benchmark, 32.79fps on thatI'm not much of a bencher but I thought Port Royale was better for bench marking GPU's?

Damn this card feels so well built, very heavy, sturdy, nice feel to it.
You did well there, I've had my alerts on since early December and still not managed to bag one.

Undervolted mine tonight and even more impressed, 1800@850
Temp difference and the perf. difference
EDIT:
Also, I don't think a 3080 is that much better than a 2080ti???
Oh nicewack on +500 on the memory too some people have managed +1000. First time on a card I've been able to overclock memory by so much without it sneezing.
Currently on 1905@825mv at the moment stable.

Oh nice
Might try later this week but haven't found any real need for more perf. this thing is a beast already
Main thing, which I've been enjoying the most is just how quiet my whole system is now, played around with all the fan curves and my PC is hardly any louder during gaming than when at idle now and temps all round are just better too.
I'd love an FE, but there's no way to buy them in Ireland now from what I can see.![]()
Yup, most definitely! Card was already pretty quiet and good temps on the whole considering fan speed but with that undervolt of mine, card using about 100w less, runs cooler and fan speeds dropped by about 10-15% during load. Its not really about performance its undervolting to reduce temps/Watts any performance improvement is a kind of side effect/benefit. At stock its a power hungry card compared to the 3060ti.
I undervolted mine. Fan speeds and temps dropped considerably. The frequency is more stable and power consumption is 70-100w less than stock. There are no downsides.I'm really not seeing the need to undervolt, it's not a hot or loud card IMO. Though I have come from a 1080Ti FE and didn't see that as offensively loud either with a custom fan curve.

Not sure that's a thing. If anything, less voltage and heat is better for the cards longevity?Any news on degradation/damage on undervolting yet?
So, what do we reckon, drops on consecutive weeks? Going to be ready again tomorrow for another round of catch that 3080!
Yeah, fingers crossed. They've apparently suspended all EU shipping for now. Likely because they weren't registered for VAT in those countries; since they only charged UK VAT.
Hopefully they'll get that sorted soon, so we can order at Irish VAT, and not have to pay import VAT and handling fees.
