I really hope so. I remember when I ordered thinking I might not get the card until December at the latest. How wrong I was!
One legit question (and apologies if this has already been asked). When I ordered the card, it said I would get Watch Dogs Legion and 1yr of Geforce Now with the card. Considering the Nvidia free game offer has changed to Call of Duty now does that mean we get that instead? Chances are that offer might change again by the time my card arrives.
I think they had some COD codes that you could send a webnote about once you had your card, and if they had some left you got one. But like you say, chances are that offer will be expired, so I don't know if there will be anything else by the time our turn comes around.

To all people in Ireland wondering about the DPD issue, I had my EVGA 3080 dispatched from a competitor via DPD this morning and its cleared customs and is in Ireland already (I was 124 in the queue from Sept 17). Seems that all the DPD troubles are close to being sorted out, I'd say that EU customers can make fresh purchases from UK tech websites fairly soon too. I will report back on any customs charges that are accrued, whether that be VAT or import duty.

39th in TUF queue, just seen the 20 pieces due in with the next shipment. So close; hope ASUS have another shipment held up in the port.
Yeah, my brother in law had his update last Friday, he's still 1120 for the 3080 TUF despite ordering 4 months ago.Anyone else in the camp of ordering a 3080 on release day (17/09/2020) and still not getting their card? I feel like I'm never going to get this thing
This is excellent to see, and the costs will definitely be recouped in future purchases by the people you keep coming to OCUK with this decision.

I've not been receiving queue updates for weeks now and I'm curious to see if anyone else is in the same boat?
Last I heard ocuk was not advancing my order in position due to DPD delivery to Ireland - with instructions on how to cancel my order attached. DPD resolved their customs blip about two weeks ago, with no further word.
Gibbo the Irish customers aren't being ditched are we? Everyone is happy to wait, but being taken out of the queue and told to wait longer is a little offhand. Being sidelined isn't great, but for a month is really quite bad.

The DPD issues were ironed out last week for private customers, but for business they are only getting going this week as they have to change their internal systems to work within the new DPD framework. So its unfair to say that the DPD blip was sorted two weeks ago.

I'm not sure where you get your information from and I'd like a citation please, they resumed just after January 14th according to DPD Ireland. The backlog has taken them a week to get through but that date didn't change - we've been receiving business shipments from that date.
Two weeks is a fair amount of time to resume queuing.
I think I need to hit home the point that these aren't orders waiting to ship, these are orders being taken out of the queue that could otherwise advance as normal without delay.
Edit: added that I rolled back pages until I found a frustrated ScottiB's post.
Honestly I'll have a look at that form and cancel the order - it seems like a rare perfect storm and probably not worth an indefinite wait.

Spent about £140 on the game (went for one of the boxed collector's editions). Massive Wing Commander fan so the allure of the game was too strong for me to resist. Probably going to bite me in the end but hey ho, can't take your money to the grave eh?
Yeah, mate I loved the Wing Commander games, many happy hours defending the Tigers Claw. It's what almost made me go in for the collectors like yourself but I've been burned too many times in the past for things like that.
I don't think you will get burned, I'm more than happy they are taking their time before releasing it. I would much rather have plenty of quality content and as few bugs as possible when it comes out.

Aye that's true. I know that whenever I do I get to play the game it's going to be one hell of an experience. My only worry at this point is getting the full episodic experience and getting the full story. It takes too long and we run the risk of only getting some of the content we were promised...

That's a complete and utter lie. I can see the stock is still in the warehouse allocated, sorry if you are one of the affected and you want to cancel, feel free, it just means that we'll allocate the card to another customer.

Bro try 1050 LMAO.
I saved my ass off to get a card but couldn't afford on launch day so had to wait till October and got slotted in at the 2000 mark originally. Moved 1000 places since then and it's been practically 90% cancellations. Worst thing is I don't have enough to buy another card just like that so it's either wait in this queue or get my money back and risking not getting a card at all. Tough times.
