Good video here from Merc; James Allison goes through the major 2021 technical regulations and the effects they're expected to have.
Grosjean to IndyCar confirmed. Although he'll only be driving on the road/street tracks, leaving the oval tracks to a (TBC) different driver.
What is the point in that other than a bit of a Sunday drive? Normally when people compete in things it's to win. What is he going to win turning up once in a blue moon and possibly just disrupting everyone else's championship.
Is it any wonder he doesn't want to drive on ovals given how dangerous they are?
Still looks like Dallara

On a one year deal. I wonder who wanted that, Mercedes with an eye on George or Lewis who may want 8 then retire or consider going to another team for a few years?Lewis has finally signed for Mercedes...
The grids certainly need to be larger. But are sponsorship budgets out there to support it? Ideally the sport would feature more than just four engine manufacturers as well, and there's certainly no money for that while the engine formula forces manufacturers to build a 90° V6 - why invest the huge money needed to get involved when the R&D you get out of it goes right down the blindest of blind alleys as far as road car use goes? Especially just to lose to Mercedes on-track.

How convoluted do they want to make it? Qualify for a race that qualifies you for a race... Just not necessary! I'm sure they will somehow try to wiggle in reverse grids in there again given half the chance. drop it already! let it die! The race format is not the issue with current F1, they just keep beating around the bush and ignoring the main issues. for example cars unable to follow other cars closely, grossly over complicated and over regulated rules and regs. Massive imbalance of wealth etc etc etc... Sticking a pointless sprint race in on Saturdays achieves nothing.
