I managed to seal a MSI Gaming Trio X 3080 today from a competitor for a very good price, finally the 4 month search ends.
I will be celebrating tonight with a lovely chicken curry
Some truth in that, but apparently GPUs are out of fashion with miners, they now use ASICs.
Unfortunately an expensive way to get hold of a 3080.So no MSI Ventus cards being shipped, but MSI MEG Aegis Ti5 Gaming PC is available and it contains a RTX3080 card. Wonder if that's where they are going? Wouldn't think they need RGB on the GPU as the box lights up like a Christmas tree on the outside.
Hmm, OK, they said it would be delivered today but are yet to pick it up so idkWas delivered by DPD yeah.

6pmWhat time did you get the shipping email yesterday afternoon / night?
Thank youIt's possible that DPD picked up early, and OC Packed your order ready for shipping just after 6pm after yesterdays shipment was picked up by DPD, so it's likely that you'll get yours tomorrow, when DPD pick the card up tonight.
It's supposed to be 7pm but who knows, could have been earlier yesterday.
That may be true now, but, the speed with which you can mine Ethereum depends on the hash rate of the mining rig and the continuously changing difficulty level. The latest Nvidia RTX 3090 has a hash rate of 120, whereas an ASIC hardware Innosilicon A10 Pro has a hash rate of 500. The guys using GPUs will soon be outclassed putting profits out of reach. The 3080s are being used to mine Ethereum more than Bitcoin actually.
Oh really? Ya hope they all suffer huge losses due to buy so many 3090s or 3080sThat may be true now, but, the speed with which you can mine Ethereum depends on the hash rate of the mining rig and the continuously changing difficulty level. Cant happen fast enough as far a I am concerned.

If ASIC hardware is so superior then why are miners buying up every 3060Ti and 3080 they can get their hands on?That may be true now, but, the speed with which you can mine Ethereum depends on the hash rate of the mining rig and the continuously changing difficulty level.
